If you're looking for an image gallery, then you should try Resco Photo Viewer!

Look guys life blog is something else I'm talking about the Media Gallary which series60 v2.0 phones have or that of symbian 7.0.

Gallary in which you can access media audio/video files

If still can't understand, open the menu in 6600,6620,7610,6630,6260,6681 nd similar one's,you'll see the Gallary icon which symbian 6.1 dos'nt have from which media files can be accessed

Ok guys,

I think what is being talked about here is 'Porting' standard applications from one symbian phone or OS version to another.

I have tried to copy the 6630 nokia Gallery application from the Z:\ drive to
my old 3650. The program icon is there, but when I open it, the screen just blinks white for a second and exits back to the main menu. Therefore, I think that the Gallery and other such nokia symbian applications are tailored for the phone/Os of that model only. The only way to really make them work is to re-wright the application or re-register the gallery within the new phones OS, probably within the DATA directory as an INI linked file or regestry entry somewhere. Otherwise the program will not work within the frame of the symbian Os its ported to.

I have a simaler problem with my N90.
I loved the PhotoRing image viewer that came with my N6630, so I tried porting the original application to my N90. Guess what happened.
NOTHING. Everytime I try to open the app, it just imediatly exits.

I wish I could get it to work as the Photoring viewer is much Faster and better loading previews than the N90's gallery.

Anyways,
Bottom line, I believe its possible, but it requires alot of effort and knowlage.
Therefore, I would not recommend this idea unless someone on this board knows how to do it. In which case I ask them if they may share this knowlage.
