NOTE !!! Use Phoenix Service Software 2005.44.7.123 (or newer) and flash update 006.005.003 (or newer)

Note! Close Phoenix before starting uninstallation or installation of Data Package.
If Install Shield Wizard does not automatically remove the previous version of
Data Package go to Start menu->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs, then uninstall
RM-109 Phone Data Package.

Requirements:

- Phoenix Service Software 2005.44.7.123 (or newer) and flash update 006.005.003 (or newer)
- Prommer (FPS-10) Or USB cable (DKU-2) for usb flashing

- MCU software release 6.03.08
- Variant packages for following operator variants:

* DTAC Thailand
* AIS Thailand
* Samart Thailand
* Optus Zoo
* Malaysia CV
* Singtel
* Singapore CV
* AU/NZ CV
* Smart
* My Globe
* Celcom (Malaysia)
* Philippines CV
* Thailand CV

- RM_1.ini file, that includes
- options used in flashing
- list of settings that can be saved from customer's phone when
updating software
- <product code>.ini files, that define
- names of flash files
- variant packages (language packages and EPOC settings) that belong to each product
- default settings for each product
- SW setting files (Product profiles)
- User interface configuration file for Product Profile tool (rm1.ppu )
- Label printing files (600dpi only)
- RM-1.val includes product type specific module information for Faultlogger
- autotune_RM-1.ini allows user to align product's RF part automatically
- rm_1_tunings.ini that specifies some TX Power Level tuning targets for RM-1
- readme_EURO_6.050308.txt (this file)

you can flash to any 6630 RM-1 phone but this is APAC data package so not spanish or vodafone inside

if you need spanish try flash with v6.050308 euro

Hi Guys

I just got to enter in this firmware section and although
I am glad to get here, I just have a few questions with
regards to the following

- What does a new firmware do, how do I install it and with what?
- What is the deal with the flash thing that seems to be all over this section
is it nice to upgrade my phones Real Media 1?

If there are other thing that I should know that is very important before I
go experimenting on my phone only to end up damaging it in any way.
Would apreciate your help thanks.

I see that it can used Dku-2 Cable for flashing. Can it be the alternative beside using phoenix box to flash my n6630? Thanks...

don't mean you just use dku-2 flashing.

we can use J.A.F + dku2, or use FPS-10 or....

The FPS-10 is intended for programming the mobile terminals provided by Nokia. DCT4 and BB5 mobile terminal generations are supported. The FPS-10 is controlled from PC. There are several interfaces that can be used to connect to the PC: RS-232, USB, and Ethernet. Phoenix SW is used to control the FPS- 10 from PC.

You dont have the most important and the most expensive thing; FlashBox... So if you have flash box; Griffin, GTI etc... you can do that, without flashbox it´s impossible to flash your phone...
It´easier to let someone who already done flashing to flash your phone...

you can't flash 6630 without flashing tools, it's not easy like install application or upload ringtones/images to your phone:party:

if you dont know about flashing just send to shop for upgrade/repair

it's just like computer, if you know how to install/format pc... it's very easy

if not, you'll feel hard to understand:tonqe:

Who have flashed 6630 with FW 6.03.08 EURO version? is there somethings wrong?? bcoz someone told that the sucessful percentage of EURO ver is lower than APAC.
Now I got: Diego 3.06, Phoenix 2004 & crack, Phoenix 2005&2006, Nokia conn cable driver 159 ita, FW MCUSW6.050308_EURO.
Am I ready to go on?
or I should dowload the APAC Fw version!?

Argh...
I cant download this firmware perfectly after my st*upid brother stopped the downloading process last night...

I downloaded it again this morning....
The downloading process ends at 2% only...
Then it says "dowloading process finished"...
I dont beleive it...
So I try to extract it....
Then it says...

Extracting RM-1_dp_v_6.00_MCUSW6.050308_APAC.exe
CRC failed in RM-1_dp_v_6.00_MCUSW6.050308_APAC.exe
Unexpected end of archive

Sometime the downloading process failed...

Can somebody reupload this firmware..?

hi im new here.. may i know after flashing the firmware? will all my data be gone? like pictures, sms, notes.. cos i have lots of data in my 6630 wondering if i should flash it.. my version is only 3.45.113 been using it quite some time. but found nth wrong.

i assume that ur pic, vid, etc r on ur MMC. just remove ur MMC b4 flashing and nothing will be lost! if its on the phone memory use the setting "rtestore user dat" and u'll get everything back

Hi I have A Tornado Flash Box, every time i try to flash phones I mean Nokia phone i get first boot err fail boot up mobile so i have to manually push ON button to get it started, other friend have same box it is working normal i even took my cabls to hem and all working ok can any one help could it be because of software verssion ... thanks

Can be flashing of use to get rid of vodafone ( you know, to get rid of their hard-coded 'go to' icons, vodafone homepages, no mp3 for ringtone etc.. )
If not, what needs to be done to get rid of their presence in my phone ? Thanx in advance, it is really important to me .... BTW I have v 6.03.08 RM-1 I don't like "mehr spiele" appearing in my games folder - ignoring the fact that language is set to english.
