i dont really understand what to do with this 'cabinstl_en' file?
where should i extract it? my pc or my ppc?

just copy the .exe file to your PPC, then run the file from it. the program then ask the source of .cab file... after you choose it, you can hoose where the .cab file will be installed.... as simple as that....

I think this app is useful for win 2003SE or older cause in wm5 we can choose where to install our cabs.

Yes, you can choose from MAIN MEMORY or CARD but not directory.
BTW:This app enables for you to choose you wanna keep the .cab or delete .cab after install as default.
This option the most important for me, that's why i use this app on my h1940.

Yeap, but there is a registry hack about this.
anyway with this software you can decide for each cab.

\Microsoft Application Installer\nDynamicDelete
set to 0
