I installed and ran it a couple of times. Doesnt remember your settings and then it asks for registration again.

Exactly, It works fine. I've been using it with no problems. And valenciag, of course it only works for 2 weeks if not registered. This post hasnt even been here for 2 weeks.

I did the first install and registered it. Then ran the registry import then the second install. Then ran the registry again and installed the newest one. It worked the first couple of times but then its like it got unregistered.

Try importing the registry after the install of 4.16. Its working for me and the other 263.

But I've only tested this on a 2003SE device. I put WM5 because 4.16 supports wm5. Still if 4.16 is not working;4.01 is defintly (spelling) proven to work with this method. And also check the hosts to see if it is actually there. I have success with resco explorer.

Nope, you can use it sharing pc internet connection. I, sometimes, use it that way.

its not working on my XDA 2i... i can install the program but when i put manual as registration name and random number as reg code.. it produce error..... advice please... really need this program..

Is the exe replaced with the cracked one because this has always worked on my siemens and what error does it give? Version 3 has to work otherwise no other cracked version of IM is going to work because version 3 makes the program registered.

Can somebody explain me how can i insert the reg file and where?

Use a registry editing program, such as Resco Explorer's registry add-in, included in the Resco Explorer package available on this site. Latest version 5.40, works like a charm :)

one question how come the the today screen plugin don't work wit the work around, does it work with you all?

Hi, I'm new here I think I might know why some people are having the problem where after a couple of uses the register pop up shows up. I had the same problem but it was because I did a soft reset right after I did the import registry hack. So I try power reset after the import registry hack and tada works fine. I'm using 4.21 thanks!

EDIT: The today screen doesn't show up in 4.21 so I'll go back to 4.16

The today screen comes out on mine with version 2.21, im using a windows mobile 5 device, one thing that i did diferent was remove the today plugin from version 4.16 before uprgading.

is this true that version 2.21 works with TmobileWeb? If so im switching asap.

I have a MDA and I not been succeful in getting this to work. Is it something that I'm missing?

I got it to run. The problem is as stated before is that when you install IM+ you must power off instead of soft reset. Thanks ZzFDKZz. how stable is IM+ 4.21?

here's my problem..:

first i installed the 3.09 and followed the rest of the set up until i registered this ver. 3.09..

now here comes the problem...everytime i install 4.04, there is a pop-up message which says it needs to remove the older version before installation... isnt it should upgrade only and not to remove the first installation..?? thats why when i continue to install until the 4.16... no registered IM+ was installed...i tried many times already and still no success..

no. that is correct. the program need to remove the previous installation to load the new installation. After you install 3.09 registeration load the other versions as followed. either 4.04 or 4.16 has the registry hack. then power cycle your PDA. I had the same problem that you were having, but if you don't power cycle and use resco to import the registry hack you may have some problems getting it to work.

It runs fine on my 8125. I did everything describe in the file. Personally i dont think its that great of a IM client. Agilemessenger would be just as good if not for some of the bugs it has. I wish the program would show a couple of lines of history when u open back up a conversation/Session.

i think my problem is when i connect to active sync and use my computers internet connection....that's the time it detects that my IM+ needs to register..but when i still havent use active sync and use my gprs connection only...no problem at all..

please anyone confirm that it only me who is having this problem....

My IM+ 4.21 (cracked) stopped working yesterday *smh*. I been using it for the past 2 weeks almost. It says that my trial is over and i have to enter the registration code. Anyone else have that problem??

It works like a charm on my iMate JAMin. Remember to hold your stylus on "banShapeservices.reg" until you get menu appear, then choose Open with Resco to import the "banShapeservices.reg" into registry.

i installed it correctly, but it keeps telling me login failed as if my password is wrong but i know its not...anyone else having this problem?

Anyone whom has had this application since the first version should not have any problems.The installation instructions are as clear as it gets.My version works perfectly.As far as the today plugin,you have to goto the main button (lower left hand corner)then settings and set the today check on the today plug in.then enable the plugin on whatever program you use for your today screen.It does work and thank you for this awesome update m8!

I checked the settings and tried both ports 110 and 5190 but nothing will work. It's wierd because agile and AOL instant messanger for PDA's connect just fine.

Try to download the newest version from IM+ website. That should fix it

I just downloaded and installed the latest version IM+ 4.23. It's working.
Just install it, then import the reg file again, hard-reset your device and there you go!

Also install the program to your phone because if you have a lot of contacts your buddy list will freeze up if you install it to the memory card. Just a hint.

How can I remove the smileys ? the smiley's are too big and i want to remove them..
