I found this... This is an internet radio and a music player for S60 3RD edition (Symbian 9.1).
It is working in my N80. Must work in 3250 and N91 too.
Music player is simple, does not have equalizer, playlist, etc.
This installs normally in N80.. so, is a .sisx app.. but has a .sis extension.

hey can it work on nokia 6630? its second edition phone or it works only for third edition phones

You can try install it, but I think it will not work on phones with Symbian 7 ou 8....

it shouldn´t work on OS 7 or 8 phones because the resolution is too high for them.
well another app working on these new phones. thx for sharing it.

lol! u guys as @Mark said it doesn't work on os7 & os8 phone...it's only for the 3rd edition phone...

P.S @FAQ emm...u already have N80 O_o.....? is it out..hmm so i have to wait for the phone came to brunei....to long :(

:lol: not out in uk either tai ! Long time to wait here ! N91 out though last week i think so fingers crossed not too long to wait :) of course will be typical nokia 'useless original firmware' though so will be hoping to upgrade that asap !

its out now here in italy both n91 and n80
and i choose the n91 for its 4gb hard drive
and im still waitin for the apps to come out

This is free app from opensource dot nokia. On that webpage you can find also source code of this app and a free, dirty port that works in previous S60 phones.

This is an app for Series 60v3. It won´t work in older phones, but if the app has been released for S60v2 and Symbian 7/8 it will work on older phones.

It only works here with WLAN. Not with gprs/umts. Anybody got it working with umts/gprs?

Some instructions for E61 (and other E-series of course)

1.Install the application to memory card
2.shoutcast directory is created to mem card
3.browse to www.shoutcast.com with the web browser
4.find your favourite channel and select "Play"
5.save the .pls (playlist) file to the shoutcast directory
6.open internet radio application->open the radio channels
7.you should now see the channel you selected on step 4 listed there

No you dont pay for any songs its internet radio you need unlimeted connection from your operator or as ive got through my bluetooth to computer to broadband .
To mobilephil. How do you set for linkiing the computer broadband using bluetooth. Please advise.

yup, install both files, and u got the option to choose station of mp3 player...

Installed in my phone memory on E61 and it seems to be working ok via wifi.

Yeh i found this on the nokia open source, its great u can make a play list with ur favourite Shoutcast stations and listin over WLAN its awsome. thanks for shareing with others.

After a few tries, it works on N80.. Some stations are quite difficult to connect though .. Works over both WLAN & 3G ..

I have tried to install it on my N95 but it says expired certificate backdated my Mobile to April 07 ans still says expired certificate. I went beyond that that the message that I get is the date seems to be qwrong in the mobile

Re: problems with "expired certificate", have you tried downloading the most recent version from Nokia rather than the older one posted here?

Nokia released updated sis files on July 19th because of the expired certificate.

For all those who are getting cert expired do this...
Set your phones date to April 2006...
Install the app and reset the date to normal...
