View Full Version : Reset The Rapidshare Download Wait Time (easy)
tanvir 16th April 2006, 10:10 If you are pissed of bye the waiting time on rapidshare and want to reset the times to the least wait time....
JUST FOLLOW THE STEPS...
!! When u have located the rapidshare link copy it (u ll need it latter).
!! After the rapidshare show long waiting time say 60 min., or so just close the browser.
!! Disconnect the network connection which connects u to the net.
!! Reconnect to the iternet.
!! Reopen the browser.
!! Paste the link (Copied earlier) and voile the wait time is RESET to the least time depending on the size of the file u r downloading...
Work for me everytime on Opera 8.5 browser.
POST ur replies if it works for u and if any problems faced......
So now u can enjoy rapidshare ..... without waiting for long hours..

here is a solution to your troubles.
Run the batch file I am posting.
This solution is similar to the aproach you are suggesting.
Rapidshare allocations are based on Dynamic IP which your ISP gives you and changes everytime you refresh your DNS cache. The latter can be done either by disconnecting and reconnecting to your ISP or by using flushdns command in DOS. I have used this implementation in my batch file.
Here you go...
Run the batch file 2 to 3 times before you run the rapidshare link.
Works like a charm.

acideax 18th April 2006, 03:03 all this is well and good if you are on dialup .. or u have a dynamic dns .. what about if you have a static dns... I have a way but its to do with ip encryption and masking.. and I know what you are thinking.. I bet he uses proxys, well I don't

you have a static ip or dynamic... ip address if you have a dynamic ip then yes it will work, I have 3 static ip's and this fix wont work... so I am asking if there is a solution for ppl with a static ip address.

Use SwitchProxy extension with Firefox. Also use proxies with flashget for downloading.
Rapidshare is so easy to meddle with.
Guess that's why its so popular.

Bro this rapidget is kind of a download manager for downloading files 4m free upload servers like rapidshare..megaupload...20+ of them..
u have to just put the download lnk in that software...all other think will be done by the software itself...like 30sec waiting...giving the verification code...all automatic...
but it still cant pass the download limitation and 1hour waiting bariar...otherwise this is the best software for downloading files 4m those servers...

that is ok...for dialup or dsl/adsl connection..but other peoples like me who are dependent on a static ip address (PPPoe) has no hope but to use a public proxy server or changing proxy time to time...

proxy is useful for static ip users...

No.. it's only for dynamic ip's.
Method won't work for static.Only soln is proxy.
