Using ur broadband internet service to connect to GPRS.
U need :
1. A bluetooth PC adapter
2.A Bluetooth enabled Symbian smartphone
3. A computer with a internet access
4.an alternative wap brower other than the preinstalled. (Example: opera for s60)
5.Nokia PC suite with mRouter
STEP 1
Create an access point on ur phone ( tools->setting->Connection->access points->Option->new access point->use default setting)
STEP 2
For each entry, enter the following details :
Connection name : use wateva name u like
Data bearer : select GPRS
Access Point name : Same name as ur bluetooth computer
Username : leave blank
Prompt Password : leave default as no
Password : leave blank
Authentication : select normal
Gateway IP address : leave default as 0.0.0.0
STEP 3
Go to tools->setting->connection->gprs where u will need 2 set d GPRS connection to When Needed and the access point to the Bluetooth name on ur computer.
STEP 4
Right-click on the connection manager in the system tray, select properties on ur bluetooth icon, see if there is an option with this similiar function - ALLOW OTHER DEVICES TO ACCESS THE INTERNET / LAN VIA THIS COMPUTER.
STEP 5
connect ur phone via bluetooth to a serial port on the computer ( Usually com0) and get both phone and PC to be paired
STEP 6
the mROUTER acts as a gateway for hybrid network connections, so when it has identified ur phone, right click on the bluetooth icon on ur system tray. Select BLUETOOTH SERIAL PORT-> OTHER DEVICES and u shud see ur phone as 1 of d connections. Connections shud b successful
STEP 7
use opera or other similiar wap browser on ur phone other than the pre-installed. RECOMMENDED NETFRONT BROWER.
