Using ur broadband internet service to connect to GPRS.
U need :
1. A bluetooth PC adapter
2.A Bluetooth enabled Symbian smartphone
3. A computer with a internet access
4.an alternative wap brower other than the preinstalled. (Example: opera for s60)
5.Nokia PC suite with mRouter

STEP 1
Create an access point on ur phone ( tools->setting->Connection->access points->Option->new access point->use default setting)

STEP 2
For each entry, enter the following details :
Connection name : use wateva name u like
Data bearer : select GPRS
Access Point name : Same name as ur bluetooth computer
Username : leave blank
Prompt Password : leave default as no
Password : leave blank
Authentication : select normal
Gateway IP address : leave default as 0.0.0.0

STEP 3
Go to tools->setting->connection->gprs where u will need 2 set d GPRS connection to When Needed and the access point to the Bluetooth name on ur computer.

STEP 4
Right-click on the connection manager in the system tray, select properties on ur bluetooth icon, see if there is an option with this similiar function - ALLOW OTHER DEVICES TO ACCESS THE INTERNET / LAN VIA THIS COMPUTER.

STEP 5
connect ur phone via bluetooth to a serial port on the computer ( Usually com0) and get both phone and PC to be paired

STEP 6
the mROUTER acts as a gateway for hybrid network connections, so when it has identified ur phone, right click on the bluetooth icon on ur system tray. Select BLUETOOTH SERIAL PORT-> OTHER DEVICES and u shud see ur phone as 1 of d connections. Connections shud b successful

STEP 7
use opera or other similiar wap browser on ur phone other than the pre-installed. RECOMMENDED NETFRONT BROWER.

Thats it, if u like my post pls press the REPUTE button thx!

Hi. This direction doesn't seem to work with Nokia 6630. For one, In Step2, Data bearer : select GPRS... we don't have that. We only have PACKET DATA as our choice. So choice for GPRS. So how are we going solve that?

my battery does not drain very fast. guess what i plug it into the mains!!!whats the use of a cable 2 foot long you might as well use your computer. (sat that close)The point is i can sit down on the couch about 15 feet away and browse the web! can't do that with a cable . Unless i get a long cable!!!!!!!!!!

GPRS rockz .. and so does my data cable ... coz i've a charger placed right next to it .. :P ... anyway .. nice info ...

Also as earlier pointed out .. bluetooth drains the battery more quicker .... but u can keep ur phone charged while u use it ... its a saviour on phones like E398 where the data cable and the charger can't be used together. ..
