SExplorer 1.0

Simple file explorer. Allows...

* Browsing of C: D: E: and Z: with file sizes.

* Opening of files according to their file type (e.g. .txt in Notes application).

* Renaming of files and directories.

* Copying and moving files of files and directories.

* Deleting files and directories.

* Creating new folders.

* Editing small (text) files under 200 bytes.

Releases

0.7 First Release
0.8 Fixes icon and install to card/hdd
1.0 Final release

User Guide

* Use -> to go into directory or open file.

* Use <- to go back a directory.

8 All other functions are via Options...

Known Problems

* Does not browse 'sys', 'resource' and 'private' folders. This is due to platform security in Symbian 9.1. You can read about this on my blog where I comment on the development of this application.

Troubleshooting

If you get the message, "Invalid certificate, cannot install", change the setting in App. Manager from "signed only" to "all software"

If you installed the previous version (0.7) you may need to switch the phone off and on to see the new icon.

Its the first file explorer for s60 v3. But guys it is really pathetic. The persentation is poor and so are the function. You guys can't help i think, but is there anyway to explore the system folder with sexplorer???

m8 all i can say at the moment is that all OS9.1 users need to be content with it at the moment...its the best we have(the only one actually)

though i completely agree with you on the facts and m eagerly waiting for my beloved Fexplorer to be released HUGO is back again after an accident and hope he is working on an OS9.1 release ASAP :rolleyes:

i've noticed that for n91, you need to install this in the phone memory for the software to work. when i installed it in the hard drive, it won't work because it will show an icon without a design and when you click it, nothing happens.

or you can use ProfiMail as the explorer with that is a lot better, but still no system access, but anything is better than Sexplorer
