Just bought my 3rd 9300i (last 2 was smashed by my son). It still have firmware 6.27. I suppose this is as high as it gets for 9300i (9300).

Well, I did consider the E90 before buying the 9300i again. My choice still goes to the "old" commie for several reasons:
1.) Price - its about 2/5th the E90
2.) Program - I use a lot of Sheet (spreadsheet) application for my work
3.) Fax capabilities
5.) Calendar - Month and Day view simultaneously
4.) Scheduled sending of SMS and Fax
5.) Timed profile - set the time for Silent, Meeting profile to expire

The way I look at it, S80 is developed as a Business phone, where as, S60v3.1 used in E90 is adapted to be a Business phone.

Its only when the E90 is able to do all the above (except for price), then I'll buy the E90. But for the time being its the 9300i....

hi menzo, i agree about the price factor,but i cant digest the fact that ur 2 costly phones were destroyed by ur son! and again there are java apps to send fax or for timed sms which u may use in any phone...anyway i appreciate ur reply.

Aside from the price, i feel that the E90's camera and call vibrate is indespensible. When using the 9300i, always was in conferences, and had lots of missed calls, but not anymore.

Besides, most of the apps on the N95, N93i and N73 works in the E90 as well, aside from some games that will not load properly in the wide screen.

So, you should try it man, it's really good.:partyman:

Just bought the E90 today. Got a good deal! 12 months free installment and no hidden charges. US$1,000/12months = $83.33/month. What a bargain!!!

So... please kindly point me as to where I can get the apps for faxing, delayed sending of SMS and timed profile.

good for you man, i got mine for about that price too, but taking some time to pay off the credit card :)

for the fax function, think it's hardware related, (correct me if i'm wrong Big Daddy) but this will be as close as it gets, unless anyone else got better app.

You can use a card reader to format your mmc..

to format your 9300,first switch off ur handset.take off d battery.re-insert d battery and den press ctrl+shift+f on ur communicator.....
