True Connect (Anglian Business Award for Technology Winner) provides the ability to directly control your mobile device using the PC mouse & keyboard.

Control is initiated by simply moving the mouse cursor off the PC monitor, onto the connected mobile device screen.
Version 1.1 (Free 14 Day Trial)


Once control has been initiated all aspects of the mobile device such as the home screen, menus and applications can be controlled using the PC mouse. The PC keyboard can be used to directly enter text onto the mobile device.

Now available for Smartphone, PocketPC and PocketPC Phones. Simply plug in the device and a connection will be initiated.

Not to be a stick in the mud but I have (I believe) followed the directions and I get true connect showing "expired". Can't seem to get rid of that. Any ideas warmly welcomed.

did you apply the trueconnect.reg? i get "registered to: [name i used to regsiter]".

For those of you (like myself) who may be clueless about what "apply the trueconnect.reg" means, I think I've figured it out. The file trueconnect.reg contains the registry keys that must be added to your system to register the TrueConnect application. To add these keys to your registry, invoke the command prompt, change the directory to that containing the file trueconnect.reg. Then execute the command: regedit trueconnect.reg

Very nice program...Tested in an HTC Touch, some initial problem with connectin cause active sync but all ok now...up up!

The free M$ tool 'ActiveSync Remote Display' works well also.
Search the M$ site for Windows Mobile Power Toys.
