i use the theme editor 1.2.1
i dont rename the folder and tdf. i copy the folder and i paste it in the skinsdir folder. after i open the editor, appears the tdf file but the dont open. the editor block

see the effect and glossy appearance and transparency, maintaining the style.

Open Theme Studio v1.2.1 > File > Import > Select TPF File.

A TPF is a "Theme Package File" which consists of all the theme component files in a single file itself unlike TDF.

Try to associate tpf file with Theme Studio, then click on it.This method works for me.

For the original note icons, what you can do is to leave it blank. (None selected) It will automatically show up as original on the device.

For the DB error, read the global announcement:

For putting up N90/95 Note Icons, see the N90 V1 Icon Pack, as far as I know, it does contain N Series Type Note Icons.

As for 3rd Party Applications, again, as far as I know, you need the UID number and the Bitmap. AIF Files are not needed. Check the tutorial below:

Again, the 3rd Party Application Icons are present in almost all Icon Packs you downloaded from here.

Wrong place to request. This is S60/80/90 Themes Section

And, as 3com already said, to get default icons in any theme, for ANY N/E Series phone, make a theme in carbide, and leave the "Icons" Tab while compiling the theme blank, or simply, dont put any icons while making the theme. That will do.

2. rename the folder name to the name of your new theme
for example : rename the folder "Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons" to "Your_Theme_Name"
3. rename the tdf file to the same name with the new folder name
for example : rename "Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons.tdf" to "Your_Theme_Name.tdf"
4. open and edit the tdf file by using windows "notepad" application
5. change and edit the words at the beginning as follows :

previous/original words :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE skin SYSTEM "[Only registered and activated users can see links]">

6. save that tdf file in notepad, save type as all files. if the dialog box appear and ask do you want to replace it click yes
7. move or cut the new renamed folder and paste it to your skindir folder of theme studio
8. open theme studio and that theme will appear it theme box at the right side with the new name
9. open it and you can start editing your new theme with the new pics..
