if you want to use this file for your theme it's just simply and you can follow the step below :

1. extract the rar file, all files in one folder
for example : Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons.rar, after extracted all files are in "Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons" folder
2. rename the folder name to the name of your new theme
for example : rename the folder "Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons" to "Your_Theme_Name"
3. rename the tdf file to the same name with the new folder name
for example : rename "Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons.tdf" to "Your_Theme_Name.tdf"
4. open and edit the tdf file by using windows "notepad" application
5. change and edit the words at the beginning as follows :

previous/original words :
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE skin SYSTEM "[Only registered and activated users can see links]">

6. save that tdf file in notepad, save type as all files. if the dialog box appear and ask do you want to replace it click yes
7. move or cut the new renamed folder and paste it to your skindir folder of theme studio
8. open theme studio and that theme will appear it theme box at the right side with the new name
9. open it and you can start editing your new theme with the new pics..

Do NOT edit the tdffile,directly copy the folder but there isa problem

Lets talk upon an example;

If you say for example;for the file theme_N90_with_v1_icons
Extract to theme_n90_with_v1_icons if you do this there will be another folder inside it named the same(theme_with_n90 bla bla)

I know when i unzip it, it has the folder(with icons & tdf file) within another folder. But i cut the 1 with the icons & tdf file n pasted that in the skindir.
Making the necessary changes in notepad also.
Looks like i won't be making any themes soon..

Directly copy.

You may rename later.

you can copy and paste that file into this folder "Theme Studio\data\config", so you don't need to enter 3rd party application icons one by one manually, it will be loaded automatically when you open the theme...

ps : if you have your own theme in your skindir folder and don't need the 3rd party icons, you can save your original icons.xml file into the other folder. you can copy and paste your original icons.xml file if you want to continue making your own themes...

Bro, what version themes studio u use? if u using TS 1.21. this version themes studio themes not working fully for nokia 6600. better u using Older TS.

Well of course you wouldn't find icons like phone settings,connection settings,call settings etc..you have to improvise,merge 2 or 3 icons together... :yawinkle:

put ur folder in skindir, at ur ts location. not open the tdf files.

... but the only problem is that there is no skindir in TS 3.1 folder... does theme studio 3.0 have it? ... but 3.0 doesnt work on my computer! :(

I tried it before, but ifound sizes of this files is not more different if ur compress winrar. but u will get an excellent sizes if using .uha.

theme studio version 1.2.1 is not mOnStEr at all..
you have to use Pentium IV > 2GHz and 1Gb DDR RAM...
and the program will running well in your PC....

Agree with sir krisna, i'm using Pentium IV 2,4 Ghz, and memory 1 Gb. but i overclock my proc speed to 3 Ghz. and it's work fine too in my pc.

This tdf files works fine in TS 1.2.1 but can't work in TS 3.1. so, id u want use this tdf files. u must using TS 3.1. :lol:

Hi Tai i have a N80 also, and am really interested in starting out making my own themes, i have plenty of ideas i would like to try but am clueless where to begin.

I know i need to use Theme studio but after reading the comments about the difficulties of version 3.1 im not sure if that would be the best one to start with.

A few people have mentioned v1.2.1 being better but slow. what would you recommend would be the best suited for 1 my N80 and 2 a novice like myself.

If u using n80. better u use ts 3.1. it's more faster than 3.0. and ts 1.2.1 not support n80 phones. that's my opinion.

This tdf files, only can opened with themes studio 1.2.1. if ur try to open using carbide ui. u will get the error message.

U can use Axialis icon wizard posted here : [Only registered and activated users can see links] Open any .ico or .icl files with Axialis From there choose File -> Export -> PNG with transparency

No u can't. this tdf files only can be open using TS 1.2.1. and u can't open it using carbide 3.1 or TS 3.0.

I have an Nokia 6600.I want an theme - Scorpion(Birth sign).

No u can't. this tdf files only can be open using TS 1.2.1. and u can't open it using carbide 3.1 or TS 3.0.

understood. so when some of you theme masters will make these fantastic themes for os9? there are not many good theme makers for os9!!! and your themes are wonderfull!! why not converting them for the new os?? :D

if you want to use this file for your theme it's just simply and you can follow the step below :

1. extract the rar file, all files in one folder
for example : Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons.rar, after extracted all files are in "Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons" folder
2. rename the folder name to the name of your new theme
for example : rename the folder "Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons" to "Your_Theme_Name"
3. rename the tdf file to the same name with the new folder name
for example : rename "Theme_with_Windows_XT_Icons.tdf" to "Your_Theme_Name.tdf"
4. open and edit the tdf file by using windows "notepad" application
5. change and edit the words at the beginning as follows :

6. save that tdf file in notepad, save type as all files. if the dialog box appear and ask do you want to replace it click yes
7. move or cut the new renamed folder and paste it to your skindir folder of theme studio
8. open theme studio and that theme will appear it theme box at the right side with the new name
9. open it and you can start editing your new theme with the new pics..

Yes i did it.if you're using theme studio 1.2.1 select theme-import and select the .tpf file then theme studio will open it and you can edit all the theme..Thanks piciar
