Hi, I'm looking for a simple voice recorder (doesn't even need to record calls) that lets you a) save to mmc and b) lets you press a button to record (doesn't need to work in background), and a button to pause, so you can press record and add more to the same file (like ultimate voice recorder/ n70 built in voice recorder does - so I can takes notes while reading) c) a longer record time than 60 seconds. Does anyone know of anything that will work with the n70? I have searched and tried everything, alonmp3 doesn't work properly, erecorder doesnt work properly, powerdictaphone crashes and restarts my phone, total recall wasn't suitable for some reason, I think it didn't have a pause function, natural recorder not only crashed my phone but crashed it automatically everytime I restarted which was scary until I managed to get rid of it, ultimate voice recorder was nearly suitable, except that when I record I get a constant loud tapping in the background (same with phone mem/mmc, wav/amr) plus I hate the fact it starts with your phone and runs in the background with no option to disable except pressing #5455**** though I would have put up with that if it wasnt for the loud tapping (same with 2 different versions of the software I tried - though this is the only software that has produced tapping so far)

Please help! I can't believe with all the amazing software and games I've found on this forum there isn't a simple piece of voice recording software that doesn't crash and will record notes while reading. I have found a few that work without a pause function but this is no good as I will be making notes while reading so can't have either very long gaps between me speaking or hundreds of small files. The built in software would be perfect if it didn't have a ridiculous 60 second limit.

Thanks for any replies.

Thanks, but that one crashes my phone. I don't know why, I'm sure I read someone with an n70 uses it but it doesn't work for me - it freezes and everything on the screen slowly fades to white before the nokia logo appears - which is different from the normal crashing style of everything quickly disappearing and turning white, or things just locking up and refusing to close (it's more like the slow fade to white I get when I reboot using fexplorer)
