that software is quite good and can used without gps receiver but it can't view some location (no available data) ... u can try it...

you can also use pictures as maps. no need for other apps if you don't have a gps receiver.

You can use it in Romania, Bucharest map has been updated to high res now. Unfortunately no streetmap is yet available (although it should be, soon, if my guess is right), so no way to get directions. You can only use it to see pretty pictures from above, at the moment :)
