I bought 6670 and downloaded TomTom 5.20. After installed and copied map it worked ok. I also made a 'voices' folder under root and copied voices files into it. TomTom can find voice. but there is no sound at all! tried turn on/off sound option it didn't work. musis players and ringtones both have sound.

Does anybody know how to get it work?

hi got the same phone and same problems i downloaded the tomtom 5.2 and it came with no folder so i simply made one saying "vocies" and stuck it on the root of the mcc card but it did not work as the voices i was using were the special ones so attached is the standard voices that you will need as standard voices are better than no voices hope that helps you

You are a legend buddy!!! It works now. Before I had same name files which were downloaded from this forum. but they didn't work. now its just so cool. don't know why but thanks a lot.!!

no problem ..while on the matter cant get the special voices packs to work.and i know they are 3 files in each pack but my standard voices work ok so why when placed in the same folder they simply do not work??? anyone any idea? but the icon image shows up in voices when selected but no sound ? ...mabe i was thinking it is a bit rate thing? and the phone is a nokia 6670 (a 7610 with a far better keymat)....so any advice much appreciated.

I managed to get some celeb voices inc tony blair , bush and the queen
but when i select them my tomtom crashes any 1 got the same prob or solution I even tried deleting the pictures that came with sound files but no luck

:idea:Try these celebrity voices they work ok they will show as specials, also if you use voice skins/bmp resize & make them smaller.
