How do you change file associations on P910? I have all available file managers, but none of them offer that option. Sman is no go too. Pleas help!

its quite simple in sman, :8 just select file then rename!!

e.g. a.mp3 => a.txt (etc.)

note: u can rename only those files which r not in use.

Ah, one more thing....

there is no need to associate any file type as its auto in this OS, it also depends upon soft compatiblity so u cant do anything special :)

Ok what if you have two o more apps that can play for example .mp3 and you want the specific program to open the file (some file mnagers you can open file right in manager)?

If we change file extention , is it work?

And seriously I havnt heard such concept since last 3 years* (in UIQ)

Too bad, i was searching for this app too, but got nothing.

I used to have XphoneII, it can change file manger through it File Manager, no need for another app.
I think really much more better if our P-series can change the File Association

guys plz search before making any new thread, there is just an app that has been released this week but it has not been cracked yet and even it's just for UIQ3 so thread will be locked and moved to UIQ section.
