why it seems it cant connect... it keeps on updating the software.... a popup always shows that a new version should be installed but it only download what is already installed in the phone...

thats the sad part.... after you've downloaded the update.. it will just overwrite the same version installed on the phone then when you open agile... it will say to download the same update over and over again...

lastest problem, if I choose to download, my N80 will hang after downloading is competed..

Or if I decline download, my phone will hang also.. .

I did... With a WEB access point...

I live in Greece and I use a Vodafone 3G WEB plan with charge per KByte. :(
The profile is called "WEB Vodafone" and was preinstalled on my N80. It's the only access point that succeded connection and didn't ask for update...

I can't seem to connect, even though there don't seem to be any problems when running the diagnostic tool. It just restarted the phone too. Ah well, I'll just have to wait for the full release version.

EDIT - Seems to be OK now, and I forgot to say thanks before, so thanks for another great release! :)

ok manage to connect with wifi, but a bit tricky... try if you can make it work on your phone....

im from the philippines
first i use my wap access point to connect.... nothing happens and it just ask me again to search for availably access point, then i use my web access point , then it will search again and i press my wlan access point then agile is connected....then go to connection manager and disconnect all connections... agile is now disconnected obviously...go to agile and wait for it to search again for available access point then if it does.... choose ur wlan and it will connect.... tried it 2 times.... hope it will work with you..

It works for me but it has some bugs i think. I notice that you need to refresh your connection a couple of times when you send images when using the wifi connection.

I also found some bug too on the N80 WIFI connection. It has some problems when using WPA on your wifi router setup. I will check it further.

Downloaded from original website v3.76 beta version and working perfectlly on my 3250!
In beta version you dont have to pay for monthly subscription..
You can change the font size also..
I'm using GPRS connection..

The version is the same like the one from Agile website
and for the Beta time application is FREE!!!!
when the finall release is up we will find out the charge...

workin perfectly on my 3250 everytime....
i have 2 access pts for internet on my mob for the same serv. providr..
one came preloaded on the phone and other i got frm my serv. provider.
first i connect thru the default one.. when connection is established and messenger tries to login i cancel the process and select other access pt which i got frm my service prov. and press connect.
and to my surpise, every time i try this method i succesfully login...

Its NOT final release.
it's just Preview RELEASE 2
it will be free in beta period until final version is up,
they have to implement camera support and many other fixes ...

I just installed on my E70. To be honest, it does not support qwerty mode properly. You have bits of screen uncovered. Another thing, when you switch back to normal mode, the keyboard types numbers and not letters. You need to cloe your current chat and open it again so in fold mode your keys will type letters :P. Will wait for a program supporting E70. Wi-Fi works great, good speed, images are snet in an instand, good software but still needs some tweaking for the landscape and portrait mode :P

sorry for the typos i am using wlan with E70.keyboard needs some adjustment :P

Hey i am using the phone now on the forum via wireless. i can confirm that I connected agile messenger on 3 clients,yahoo,msn,and google. I can also confirm that on msn i managed to send successfully pictures to my contacts. i know this might sound weird but can anyone give me a link to a program in order to post some screen shots with the landscape issues. Thank you very much for the private message. The program works fine on E70. It took me a while to "figure" out the keys :P, especially in qwerty mode. It is always like that. You never see the obvious.

As promised you have the screenshots with agile in both normal and landscape:

Take in consideration that there is no change when you select full screen in options.
1. No full screen normal mode

3. Qwerty mode image has blank spots and is not evenly distributed. Sorry for the qwerty pic, but by the time i figured it out how to take the screenshot with the full keyboard, my keys locked automatically. Image is the same in both full screen and normal.

4. Returned to normal mode, my keys were typing only numbers. No matter how long i held the key it was not typing a letter. You need to close current chat and reopen for they keys to type letters first and if you hold them longer numbers.

Its nothing like using WiFi you can use it anywhere. I use Agile and MSN on the bus too and from work with an N80 on 3, and before that I used it on a 6680 also on 3.

Dont know about in India but in the UK there are several different choices of internet access on the 3 network. There are a few called Mobile Web which allow access to only sites that 3 have classified as suitable for viewing on a mobile (but this has now changed slightly since they introduced the Yahoo portal). And they have the Wireless Web which allows full internet access as well as access to POP/IMAP email, this can either be done from your mobile of from a laptop using your mobile as a 3g modem a bit like a datacard does. Wireless Web option will also alow you to use third party aplications that require internet access such as AgileMessenger, HandyWeather, Nokia Lifeblog etc.

Its a Wireless addon therefore its WiFi!! Its just the access point it static and (for the midlands at least) is in a room in Lemington Spa.

The 'walled garden' is the basic services that you get with a 3G tariff and I just saying its a shame that Agile does not work using that

Wap is wireless, GPRS is wireless, neither of these are WiFi, its an internet connection without wires, thus its wireless. It works exactly like 3's services, doesnt require you to be within so many meters of a static access point like WiFi does it can be used on an 3G phone not just a WiFi enables one. Its no different to buying a data bundle on 02, Voda or Orange, and you can even use Agile with it if your only getting a 2.5g reception.

Nope it doesn't force me to upgrade. Perhaps you should try. I installed 3.76 over 3.78 after it expired and funny thing is it doesn't prompt me to upgrade after connecting to the MSN service (which normally it does at this particular point of time). Been using 3.76 for a few days.

Seems like nobody discovered that users could downgrade to 3.76 except for me. Haha.

Just install Agile Messenger v3.76 again. Some users have installed v3.76 and they aren't prompted to upgrade to v3.78. (Just a few post up)

Apparantly it only works if-and-only-if your v3.78 has expired. At least the 2 person who installed after me also had their v3.78 expired

Maybe you would want to change your system date such that the v3.78 expires, then you install v3.76 over it, then shift back your system date.

Do it at your own risk.

hey...it work. just install the version 3.76. the older version will overwrite the existing 3.78 version. You may still get the reminder to upgrade to ver 3.78 when u first log into messenger using the older version, but just press cancel and it will work fine the next time u log on. my hp is nokia n80.

the 3.76 "Ok" and "Cancel" which is also the Left and Right buttons dont work well on my screen.

They are shown in portrait mode, connect on my bottom right, exit on my top right (However the buttons work)
whereas my E61 has a 240 x 320 screen.

3.78 shows it fine but it will be expiring in 4 days time.

Anyone has success on the E61 with 3.76?

Nope it doesn't force me to upgrade. Perhaps you should try. I installed 3.76 over 3.78 after it expired and funny thing is it doesn't prompt me to upgrade after connecting to the MSN service (which normally it does at this particular point of time). Been using 3.76 for a few days.

E61 (me included) owners seem to be screwed. 3.76 is free, but the landscape screen is all screwed up. 3.78 fixed the screen problem, but is no longer free. Oh, well. That's what we get for buying a phone with a different form factor than most.

@Razor1973: Actually not a big deal, or? Version 3.76 is working pretty damn well on the e61. Only thing is, that the description of the two softkeys is shown this way:
Command on bottom right --> LEFT softkey
Command on top right --> right softkey

Aside from that everything working fine (and yes, you can cancel the updating-procedure and it works like a charm!!)

3.76 seems to be much less stable than 3.78. If I used WIFI to connect it always crashed after a while.

On N80, 3.76 does not have voie message plus no taking in stant pictures!! It really sucks!

i got an n91 i upgraded to verision 3.78 then read the post above i installed version 3.76 but when i try to run it all i get is a msg sayin standy mode: unable to execute for security reasons

I installed 3.76 on my E61 and it opens, but as soon as press the button to connect, it just crashes and disappears without an error. I have re-installed several times. Unless I downloaded a buggy 3.76 version.

The cheat works on my E70.
No 'payment' screen on the menu..yipee..
I've already paid around US$1 (charged with premium SMS) for monthly charge yesterday, but it's okay because I don't have to pay anymore in the future...thanks a lot for the cr*ck :)

not really unstable. i on my agile v3.76 with wifi and took a nap. woke up 3 hrs later my agile is still connected

v3.76 doesnt support those features. if u need the instant taking pictures u can always upgrade to v3.78, but u need to pay for it :)

Just test again, force me to upgrade to 3.78, it prompt that my trial period was expired and ask to pay then program exit.

Then I re-install the 3.76 version to overwrite the 3.78 version, it works again~
