View Full Version : Adobe PDF reader for 9.1 3rd edtion amro_bank 8th June 2006, 10:27 Found on Nokia E61 support website. Tested on N91. I searched the forum but couldn't find this in the "9.1 3rd ed." thread, Magika 8th June 2006, 12:13 been waiting for this, but we still need file explorer for system folders amro_bank 8th June 2006, 12:20 As far as i know the enhanched security of this 3rd edition doesn't allow applications to access the system folders. By doing so it is almost impossible to make a virus for this OS. But I'm new to symbian (got my N91 less than a week ago), so hopfully I'm wrong (on the part of the explorer, not on the virus part!). At least we can now try this 2nd public beta version which is time limited and runs till 1 December 2006. __________________________________________________ _____________ Pdf+ (for S60 3rd edition Smartphones) is a viewer for Adobe® Acrobat® files, also known as Portable Document Format (or PDF) files. This particular distribution is for the Nokia S60 3rd edition Smart phones, such as the Nokia E61, the Nokia E70 and the Nokia N80 You get all the functions you'd expect, such as displaying specific pages, searching, zooming, full screen mode and displaying and following bookmarks and links. Shortcuts give quick access to most functions. The built-in help text explains the use of the program in detail. You can open password-protected files, and files encrypted with 40 and 128 bits Standard encryption. Pdf+ also remembers the last 10 files you have opened. You can save your favourite view settings, and you can select which font will be used for standard PDF fonts. Pdf+ can display PDF documents in most languages. For displaying certain Simplified and Traditional Chinese documents you can install a plug-in. You can also print a document, either all the pages, the current page or a range of pages (not yet in the public beta). Pdf+ is a native viewer. There is no need to convert a PDF document with your PC to a proprietary format, saving you much time, money and hassle.
