U need a cable, infrared or bluetooth and Nokia Pc Suite software (you can download it from nokia.com its free...) & u will backup your phone memory then when u'll have ur new phone u will restore everything from the old phone

ok, sorry about wrong section.....i have the pc suite and cables etc. But last time the same thing happened and i saved all the sms to pc and when i tried to transfer it back, it wouldnt transfer.....

You can use Oxygen Phone Manager which can backup all your phone's information so you can deploy most of it on other Nokia phone. Unfortunately OPM is a commercial software.
