To be able to update statistics and schedule in worldcup2006,use any file explorer go to E:\Resco\RFWM2006\Updates and delete these files:
-fileVersionList.txt
-news.xml
-fileversion.txt
-table.txt
That's all you have to do
and don't forget to repute

i can't find these files, when i go to
E:\Resco\RFWM2006\Updates
the folder is empty

Have tried what you sugessted and deleted those files using FExplorer but still getting Download failed: Corrupt on my N70.

i removed everything on resco folder then perform an update again but it still failed. then i changed my connection settings i removed the pr0xy port number which is 8080 and it works. statistic was included on update but i dont know how long it will last.

If the trick doesn't work it means you are using wap GPRS not Internet one so verify your APN or you have installed another version cause there is 2 releases in the forum

I get the same "Download Corrupt" too, but I've noticed that the statistics have been updated as shown above. Update seems to be working, just that error message keeps displaying. If someone comes up with a solution, please post.

i have a nokia 6630 and i did update but when it came up with the download corrupt i uninstalled it and installed it again so therefore i have no news and there has been no updates becasue of the corrupt message, i then took your advice and deleted the update files in the resco folder and changed the proxy port but still it comes up with this message
Any further ideas?

im using ver 1.0.1 i performed an update a couple of minutes ago and it works without displaying the irritating message download failed. maybe theres a problem on your connection or the server that were accessing for an update is busy. ill try it again tomorrow hope it will work good. Br

Any type of problem resolving doesnt work. Me: N70; WorldCupMobile1.01; FW 3.xxxxx.

Same problem with my 6681. still error.

I didn't delete anything on my SX1 and did madke an up-date this morning.
People, try it early in the morning around 8-9 o'clock and you'll sucsed to DL it.
DO NOT try to find update immediately after game do it next morning and you'll have no problems with it..............

I used a proxy port number as same as the connection proxy port number that I used in my country & the result is no problem 4 the update.br ;)

guys...my suggestion is to use the "fifa matchcast" application posted in the world cup section by pritraman. its awesome ..got real time statistics photos and live matchcast. much much better than the resco app.
