Been using Qreader, but some books I found on this forum are mobibooks format. This has come in handy. However, as I am new to mobireader, is there anyway I can add the ebooks I got from this forum to the mobireader's library? I have currently place them in my "Documents Folder" and had to go into the folder using the installed File explorer and open from the ebook file itself. I cant browse it from the mobireader program. schrotti 21st July 2006, 15:25 i just installed the Wikipedia Encyclopedia on my handset, it works very nice and fast. U dont need any internet connection, the full database is like 520 MB so you need at least a 1 GB memorycard, wikipedia (freeware), and mobireader i dont know if the database is available in other languages then german, just give google a try ! http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/5101/screenshot0001zc4.jpg http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/5910/screenshot0003ha8.jpg http://img226.imageshack.us/img226/5268/screenshot0002ie5.jpg docmac 22nd July 2006, 10:58 i've visited wikipedia and the downloads section had a lot of database dumps available for download. which do you recommend? thanks. schrotti 22nd July 2006, 14:25 well, database must be in *.prc format so mobireader can handle it, for example here is the link to german wiki version hxxp://www.asmdb.de/medien/wikipedia/mobipocket/2006-03-20-wikipedia-mp.zip noban 22nd July 2006, 15:15 @schrotti is it trial or demo?? schrotti 22nd July 2006, 16:15 this porting of wikipedia is freeware noban 22nd July 2006, 16:18 i mean the mobireader u uploaded here?? database free i know schrotti 22nd July 2006, 16:20 mh, mobireader is free too, why? no more freeware allowed here ? noban 22nd July 2006, 16:27 u didnt mention in thread title :) .. users ll keep asking then..edited title... freeware always welcome cosymitis2 22nd July 2006, 18:34 There is a not tested link for Wikipedia if you are interested on Encyclopodia ebook-Library: hxxp://encyclopodia.sourceforge.net/en/library.html Of course free. Sorry for the off topic. titian 7th August 2006, 09:53 For my silly question: (except on the root of memory card) Where the reader file will be placed? (On N80 of memory card, I've seen the folder name: "Documents" but when i put the files in there, the mobireader can't read...) Thanks Found it: Using the method of "Data Transfer" to find the MobiReader in the folder Private then the Readerfiles can put in Import directory Thanks weaseley 1st September 2006, 08:27 I couldn't find the wikipedia database.....
