to update,you don't need GPRS connection all you have to do is to download the folder which is uploaded after every match,unzip it,using a file manager copy it and paste into:E:\Resco\RFWM
There's some files missing in yesterday's update.I've uploaden them here so copy the 1st missing file to:E:\resco\RFWM\News
the 2nd one copy it to:E:\Resco\RFWM\Updates\Results

i uploaded PC version few days ago and it has ALL PLAYERS and their data in it but this mobile version doesn't have.
do anybody has it on mobile?

I edit the topic after every match to upload the new file and remove the old one all you have to do is to download the file,unzip it,copy and paste it in E:\Resco\RFWM

I can't find team squad in my version where is it located please?
I have the n-gage version and I go to teams. I select one pressing the middle of joystick and it appears the country name (history) and players. Players is empty. Hope this is what you mean.
If you meaned where to put the file I dont know. sorry if I missunderstood.

I think N-Gage version is different from other s60 version

pls try this: update the news first and then update the program via update button.

I have an error after tring to update "Download failed: Timed out". Anybody can tell me waht went wrong?

Update the version to latest V1.04.
Follow the upgrade guide.
Now, my N70 works perfectly.
With all the statistic scrolling, updates etc works.

If you can't update using GPRS that means your connection is WAP GPRS not internet GPRS.if I'm right go to settings enable proxy and enter the right proxy server address you can find it in one of your Access Point

The reason for not able to update is most probably same as in netfront 3.3. As we are getting same error dns error.
So there could be some fix of it by fixing the ini file.
As people have done 4 nf 3.3
i am talking about airtel users.
Please try to fix the ini.

Strange! I said earlier that I copied the files to "Updates" folder instead of RFWM only and it did work but now it doesn't. Now I have to copy to RFWM instead of updates folder to make it work.

It's no doubt simpler but I don't think it is faster. I don't like to restart my phone. What I do is only copy and paste and it's done. Anyway, your effort is appreciated. Thanks for your suggestion too...

I checked before posting and it's 100% working.

Before you post that's not working PLEASE CHECK:
1) The version installed MUST be the 1.04
2) Install my update in the same folder where updates are stored.
(if you selected before your phone memory as update folder then install this sis in c:
-otherwise if you choose (at the first use of the WorldCup app) the MMC as your update folder then my update sis must be installed on MMC.

DarkHorse, the updates posted by you donot have details of the latest matches (Quarter-Finals).

I am talking about, both Wcup.UPDATE.30june.DH.zip and WcupUPDATE2jul.DH.zip.

Means when I go for match details, of the Quarter-final matches, and when I click on Bericht, it gives error Not found!

This means, in the Resco\RFWM2006\Updates\Results\ folder, (where the results are stored), has the files:
S124.htm, S125.htm, S126.htm, S127.htm
These are the files which have breif information about the last four matches I am talking about (Quarter-final matches)

But the following files are missing:
Resco\RFWM2006\Updates\Results\B124.htm
Resco\RFWM2006\Updates\Results\B125.htm
Resco\RFWM2006\Updates\Results\B126.htm
Resco\RFWM2006\Updates\Results\B127.htm

These are the files which have detailed news about matches. (i.e. the pages you get when you click Bericht)

If the files are not already there, most probably you are not updating properly. Please make sure you add them too, whenever you pack your update.
