hi guys i already formatted my hard disk, now i am ready to install winXPSP2 but i cant start or load my WinXp CD.. what will i do? pls help.. do i need to have a start up disk? how can i do that.. pls help me..

insert ur cd..go to bios and opt for start from cd rom...winxp will run...press enter it says so.simple

Usualy you need to press DEL key to enter in bios Menu , if it doesn't work try F1 key
After you enter in bios menu you shoud change boot order something like Cdrom,C,A
After you set this option press F10 to exit and save this option
When you boot Windows Xp ask you to press any key for setup..

tats explain everythin..enter bios..check out options u get to enter bios..usually del for desktop and tab for laptop..it displays when first start ur comp

Yes, try Norton Ghost , there is an option that calls -Hard to Hard disk cloning-, but it works only if your components are similar

If u want using norton ghost with the different hardware. before u ghost ur drive, remove ur ATAPI hard drive controler. then ghost ur harddrive.
