i've rec'd the instructions on the n-box but i hate reinventing the wheel.
today i attempted to unlock a samsung x497. it kept telling me that it could not enter the TAT mode. okay, experimenting i found that you have to clickon the UNLOCK tab before turning the power on. Somehow i missed this in the instruction manual. (didn't unlock anyway). i have a feeling that certain files must be in certain directories before this and other programs will work. the manual says nothing about this. tried to unlock an LG and Siemens and some result, nothing. i'm sure that the box will do this but what combination of steps and programs to make it work, i haven't figured that out yet. so if someone could be a HERO it sure would be welcome. Some posts indicate where files are located to download. when you go there you have to register and wait 24 hours. would be nice if the post indicated that REGISTRATION REQUIRED before downloading.

okay, you get a nck code or something like that. disconnect the phone from the cable, remove battery, reinstall battery with a sim card that you want to use. in other words one that the phone is not locked to. power on. when it says 'wrong card' press 'undo' i think and enter the nck number and press 'ok' phone will then be unlocked. i'm doing this from memory so excuse it not just right but i'm sure you'll get the drift.

WELL, when you read mobil info in second line of codes it is unlock code, with wrong card you turn on phone an white it code and yet unlock.

si hablas español es haci. preciona mobil info y lee la informacion del telefono despues preciona unlock y te resetea los codigos a cero, vuelve a leer el mobil info y en la segunda linea de codigos esta algo como "34545457 , 000000" ingresa este codigo con la sim rechazada y se te liberara o sino si te aparece undo es para desaser la restriccion preciona undo y escribe "00000000" 8 ceros y tambien estara desbloqueado
