Not many of us will be very eager to give our shipping address at the moment due to privacy issues arising due to the very nature of iphone-forum although the idea of a free ipod is very much to drool about.
Kindly address the fact that we are required to give a shipping address before we participate in the competition. Please let the requirement be changed so that only the winner needs to give his/her shipping address.
Let's hope that this competition achieves the desired objectives for the forum.

It is perfectly normal to have reservations about declaring your shipping address..but if you don't mind please clarify what the quoted line above means..

All the detail for participate to the competition is through emailing to the site. There is three email to send message. No one else only admins can see you address.

your private details is to be viewed only by the admin of this site and no one else. you can be shure it wont be used for any 2nd intentions. i have also sended my adress to them with no problems.

I have complete faith in the administrator and all the worthy moderators regarding privacy.
But I am paranoid with regards to the fact that my address may somehow be linked to my activities on the forum, which i am afraid to say has a lot of material which is in contravention to copyright (said euphemistically).
Granted, the site itself is legally safe as it disclaims the responsibility of the posted material on the member who posted it, but consequently, it becomes something for the members to dread about the risk of posting such content.
I hence strongly feel the need to know if at all it is possible that data regarding the activity of any member can be retrieved by any authority under any/special circumstance.(I am wary since the trouble caused over Bayxonic's themes and the remarks made by some able moderators regarding the liablity issues arising due to posting of copyrighted material)
Please understand that I say this with utmost respect to the administrator, moderators and all the members who have made this forum possible.
