Friends I Am Using Windows Xp Sp1
Many A Time I Am Not Able To Acess Sytem Of My Friend On Network
Who Has Shared Few Folders
Message Is "you Do Not Permission To Acess The Computer Etc.."
Even I Have Shared Few Folders Which They Are Also Not Able To Acess

I Wanted A Free Acess Between Computer With Shared Folders

Any Sugession

Help Me Please

First of all, just make sure you all are in the same network group (for example WORKGROUP OR MSHOME ETC). Try using the networking setup wizard to run on your pc, follow the on-screen instruction. After finished, make a setup disk and run this diskette at your friend pc. If all of you is using xp then this should solve your problem. bR.

even though you both in same workgroup but configuration in TCP/IP of subnet mask is different this is the main cause so check subnet mask is matching or not

Also check, if your friend's pc is behind firewall, reconfigure it,
and also make sure File and Printer sharing is enabled...
