You're probably trying to install old Symbian 8 and lower SIS files (S60 2nd edition) on a Symbian 9 device (S60 3rd edition), and this will not work, since the two SIS formats are not compatible. Also, the software written for S60 v2 will not work on S60 v3.

using the file explorer to change the sis file,
for example, "fifa world cup.sis" is the file name,u can using the file explorer to change like:"fifa world cup.sisx"

my eng is suck!hope u understand what i mean.

i remember the file ex is call "mobi explorer"

Changing the extensions wouldn't accomplish anything, it still won't install. The SIS format is still 2nd version, even if you change the extension from SIS to SISX.
