Thanks, Teddy. You can do the new Lamborghini theme next week, no issue. What counts is the effort you give. And you can feel free to use my icon set. It's not mine, anyways, but some selections I made from the three free icon sets on offer at OwnSkin. I just wish there more varied options available, though at present, I love this particular set. You could perhaps even try a nature theme some time next week, too, with a more colorful and vibrant background.

i just tested lycan73, from bright room to dark room, it's true that the keypad light is turn off when u r in the bright room and will automatically turn on when u r in the dark room, but nothing change on the lcd. may be u should change the setting or even go to the nokia center to have it check, because on my E61, that thing doesn't occur.

Don't know, Teddy. The problem really bugs me. The screen is great, but it suddenly fades to dull the moment the keypad lights come on. I thought this must be the case with all E61s, but you give me a different story to make me seriously fret over the issue. I wonder if I was given a defective piece. There are no settings that I am aware of that would counter the issue, and I would hate going to the Nokia service center within just a couple of months of purchase. I guess I need another E61 for comparison, then I'll know for sure. Maybe some inputs from other E61 users might sort out a few things here.

Well, the bugs sure seem to be surfacing. It would seem to live up to the adage that nothing's perfect.

Went to the phone shop, Teddy, where I had purchased this E61 from, and got to compare it with a brand-new E61. The new E61 had a slightly brighter screen, not by a great amount, just a tad bit, but nothing to worry about much. The light sensor function, though, stayed the same on both phones. Dark surroundings prompted the keypad to light up, and this in turn did reduce the LCD brightness on both phones. Guess it's something built into all E61s and even, perhaps, all Series 60 Third Edition phones.

Thanks for the rep, 6600ngage. yeah sure, so just the folder icon that have the matrix folder. as for the clock, i can't change the needle as there is no option at ownskin but i could change the clock to a white one.

@Blue_ray, thanx bro, glad u like it, actually i got the v1 done ( using LayZ's wallpaper, but something went wrong with the ts 3, it just gone from the skindir directory which cuased by the sudden death of the electricity and i can't recover it again ( have to do everything from scratch). It's okay, Ted. The default icons I was referring to were the lot that came along with the phone, as in the default Nokia theme, and not the ones you had put up. Yes i noticed that, and yet still in progress, so i will fix that. thanks for the input.

okay, actually that icon come along with the default theme called digitiles, but since i'm using city tdf files as the template so, the icons come differently. I'll try to make the icons interesting and blend with the theme.

as for the upgrade firmware, i heard about it also and being mention on this forum also with the list of improvement, the question is : could we do it online? as far as i know we have to go to nokia center to do that unlike the SE phone which can be done online, wonder why nokia does not support that kind of service.

Anyway here is a screenshot from the new theme using the zebra template called : BrownArt using the zebra default icon set (the icons will not be changed as it is fit already).

It has the same affect as the zebra one, the grid highlight is animated from dark to white and also the list highlight will go from bright brown to dark brown ( actually i just notice this, and i find it interesting )

Guys, i got bad news, i got totaly dead E61 on my hand now, as i try to upgrade the firmware by downloading it from the net. because it just failed in the middle of updating it and pressing the retry button don't do any good. so i guess i won't be making any theme anymore for the E61 as i'm gonna throw this thing away.

That's okay lycan73, as i like to try things out anyway, i used to have an SE phone i usually upgrade the firmware through the net and turnout to be okay.

As for the nokia firmware upgrade, never done anything before even bring it to the nokia center and also i used to change the phone alot, actually about 3 months or so, i got bored with it.

But as for the E61, i feel differently, i like this phone alot so....... just bad luck, i guess.

I just hope things go well for you, Teddy. It's a good phone, I know, and I love it as well. It's the best phone I've ever owned. I do hope you get things sorted out a.s.a.p., and not only get back your beloved phone, but also get back to making such great themes for the E61. So i thought i'm just gonna send it to jakarta to get it fix with cheaper charge less than half of it and the same probability but at least i trust the guy since he is the head technician for nokia in jakarta.

Hopefully everything runs okay, which i will be inform around next week.

What a relief Teddy. Just the fact the Jakarta (beautiful place, I have several friends from there) Nokia head tech. accepted trying to flash it gives me high hopes the flash will be successful. The size of the screen it self is 320X240 but the effective wallpaper size is 320x200 since there are 2 bars, one on top and on the bottom so choose the theme that have both bars so u could change the wallpaper using the 320x200 and will fit nicely.

As for making the theme, since there are no size or template for the E61, then we must choose the template for the N80 which is 352x 416.

Actually, i got 2 in the progress but since i can't test it on my phone ( which due until next week with the hope everything goes smoothly with the flashing).

yup i got everything crossed, gadgetski, hopefully not my phone though.

the good news with the new ts is that it's alot faster than the previous one.
But on the other hand, it has it's weakness also, no gallery to choose the image as u must open explorer to do that and there are some changes in the sizes and now all the images are save under svg format (previous one in bmp)

Guys, sorry for the long delay of my new themes, i still haven't got a free time to do so since the end of the year seems to be the busiest months of my time (usually i got free times from the beginning until mid of the year), and i still experimenting with the new ts also.

But, i will do some simple theme first when i got free times. thanks for all your support and patience guys.

@ericko, i'll get to that part (anime theme) soon enough, so just be patience about it, as for gettng the E61, u won't regret it my friend.

Here is the first theme i made at my free times with the ts 3.1, which i'm not really satisfed with the result since i haven't got time to do the icons and yet the size is already 4 Mb, so please give comment as to improve it.

yup, that's true, it's too big. i like ts 3.0 better though even it's alot slower and harder but u get a better result and alot smaller size theme.

so i think i will go back to the ts 3.0 for making the next theme.

oh yah, i forgot about that theme, i think i have to make another one from scratch again, i'll look for the wallpaper first, i still got the analogue clock though.

It's alright mate, we r here to exchange knowledge too, before i use the older version of theme studio 3.0 and now i'm still trying the new one carbide ui 3.1, which is much faster.

As for the win mobile, i did download the pictures u upload, and hopefully i will do the theme after the Orange wave.

luckyyy, could i ask your opinion on which one of this, that u prefer for the Win Mobile Vista Theme. i did made some sketches on how it looks.

@cellindo, the Windows Mobile V1 is only for the E61 users, as for the N80 i will make the V3 for it. the E50 and the N73 are both have the same resolutions which is 240X320, hopefully i have time to make for those phones.

@metaserph, thank u for always supporting my themes and also for the rep. As for the v2 i would like to skip it first and go ahead with the v3 which has different colours because the v2 with the vista icons, will take sometimes as i have to prepare all the icons.

Suggestion for V2 for background and idle: Just see the original Samsung i320 theme! I m talking only about colours! With your Win vista icon set!

Thank u faraz_k86, glad u like them, as for the repute button, there was there before, now they change it to karma button just beside the quote button.

E61 is a bit difference with the N80 since there are different in the resolutions and also the colour depth, so a simple theme will work nicely with the E61.

Title update is to update the title when there is a new files is being upload by requesting to the mods. which is not to often, i guess, unless u upload alots every day.

Black Art looks fine on my N73,just a MASSIVE file...........i'll try to post some shots........if there was something to change on it though it would be where the key pad locked icon is,it's white and you get the white shade around it,it spoils it a tiny tiny bit.

It looks okay though on the N73, no stretch or pixeleted, especially with the transparant wallpaper, ha...ha....much better that way.

As for the keypad locked icons, i can't see it on my E61 though, may be u could post the screenshot on it?

Well it's just the same for the Bluetooth icon,see the screenshot,dont you think it would be better if it just showed the icon and not the shaded bit?

Bring them all Teddy, the more the merrier. This particular design, as well as Simplified among others, have a sort of "zen" quality to them. Just an observation but seems to me the New Year has brought a crop of themes that add another dimension beyond the "eye candy". The word that comes to mind is Contemplative. You along with Allfa, Pasco and Babi are sharing such synergy, imho. Bravo!

Okay, my friend, i will do the rest of the colour but this time only for the E61 version, yup i admire them all too (Allfa, Pasco, Babi and also Mellie75rox) they all r good themers and i guess some of them already have their own icon packs. Before i always wanted to make every themes with different icons set but it's very time consuming which i can't do it now.

I guess i will have the folder icon that i wanted to be my icon pack and again still have no time of doing so.

And as for u i guess u should change your mac to the core duo one's which can run the mac and windows at the same time so u can do the themes and share it with us here too.

I hate making "could you please change requests", but if you take the words and the blue circle thing off of the background in the Nseries version of Aqua Effects, it would be one of my favorite themes for sure! Not that it isn't already an awesome theme of course... :)

Btw, your simplified theme is one of my favorites for sure. One of only four themes that I install to my phone memory rather than my card memory so I can have it displayed regardless of which card I use... ;)

It's Allright my friend, the N73 version is already done, i did make the light and dark version without the button, as for the N80 i will do it after this.

Yup, i did upload most of my themes there and that's true that i'm not too active as i am at this forum though. at m9 i just do the upload and share. i don't dare to join the tournaments, i am just a beginner and i did it for fun. thank u my friend to have faith in me.

The file has been edited as i found a bug which is white text on white background, which happen when u wanted to install a new theme, the text on the popup background which is about the info of the theme is white.

Will there be an N80 version?

Will there be an N80 version?

I did the white & blue theme with all the svg format image, it suppose to be okay to fit in any other resolution, may be u could try it and let me know the outcome because from now on i will be using the illustrator instead of photoshop so any of my themes should be okay in any resolution, at least that what i'm hoping cause it would save alot of time.
