u can download it at forum.nokia.com. (under platforms, s60 platform, tools/ sdk). u must register to be able to download.

And make sure your pc had at least 1 gig of ram, because i try it with 768 mb, it still kind of slow even the requirement say min of 512 mb

dvp, as for the plain dark blue theme, i manage to change all the text colour to red and as for the signal & battery, i also changed it, but when i installed it on the phone, it back to the blue one, i still try to figure it out why since in the preview of the theme in theme studio, it shows red signal and battery.

i'll update the progress later on.

Thank u Cid, of course i'm gonna make the superhero themes, like superman and batman or even spiderman. as for the superman theme, i did make it but just the logo but there will be another other version of it as it is my favorite superhero.

As for the anime themes, i don't really have collections of the wallpaper, so i guess i won't be making it, at least for now.

U have to set your phone first before u install any themes, first go to menu, tools, app.mgr then options. choose settings, then change software installation to : all and online certif.check to : off.

Yep,the blue and white one mate,and heres a bit of info

You just go to checkout as if to create a sis file, then click 'advanced' (where you would go to add certificate and key for v3), and choose which you want, 2.6 for 6600-6680, 2.8 for n70 and 90, and 3.0 for v3, then press create sis.

I see, actually when i finished making a theme i always go to the advance, checking the key and certificate also the 24 bit and 3.0. so it means that i just have to redo the checkout and choose the 2.8, that's it.

Nope, i don't think they will work since they are different in the os version, the N90 is os 8.1 and the E61 is os 9.1 3rd edition.

As i'm making the theme, i convert it differently in ts3, one in 2.8 for N70 or N90 and 3.0 for the E series and N80.

And if they do, it won't look nice since the resolutions and the color depth is different in E61.

But anyway, u could give it a shot though.

Thank u dani2xll, yup it will look better in N80 as they don't stretched, as for the E61, it will stretched since there is no option in the ts3 for the E61 screen size.

It should work just fine in other 3rd series handset also as they have the same screen resolutions (352 X 416) like the E60 and E70.

Yeah sure gshocks300, but the first picture (the red one) can not be use, the second one is good. do u have any other picture? which is for the idle ( the front background) and the background (the menu background)?

Yup, they appeared to be white in clock, signal & battery bar and also the icons, as i convert them into 2.8 version as it happens in the N70.

At the moment i still try to figure it out how to fix it and convert it to older version as they different in sizes.

yup the n72 is os 8.1 not the 3rd edition. as for making it,i don't think it would be the same since i don't have the original pictures.

Every single theme I have downloaded and tried to install have resulted in a error message, contact software provider (or something like that).

I have tried to install the themes in two different ways:
1. via pc-suite, install program... didnt work
2. transfered the .sis file to the phone (catalog named others) tried to install from there, didnt work...


I fell like the biggest moron who can't even install a frikkin theme on my phone, what am I doing wrong?? help me before I put this phone back on the shelf and pick another one.

As for your problem, i think u need to change the setting in your phone, go to tools, apps mgr, options, setting and change the software installation to ALL and online certif check to OFF and if it still stay not compatible as u install the theme, just proceed (choose continue).

Just my 2¢, the white & blue/red background is a little hard on the eyes but when a matching wallpaper is added it looks great. When it's just plain it's good for people who want to use their phone as a flashlight without having to use the proper flashlight app!

I agree with u dvp, i deleted the upper apple, which is looks nicer without it.

As for the default icons, i don't think it's possible as i have already changed it, may be next time before i change all the icons, i would save it first, so there will be 2 versions of it.

In this version, i changed all the wallpapers, as u can see in the new screenshots.

for later version, i could do as u suggested though :
'- No silver colour, but the bottom part can't be the same with the upper one because of the softkey text.
'- the signal and the battery bar. here is the problem with the E61, as it is hardly to see the signal and the battery bar, so i decided to make one smooth bar rather than segmented.

i guess, the default start of the week should be monday. as i try it also, it doesn't show the number of the week, also in the setting, the week view title is not there when i set week starts on any other day except monday.

The Fonts will be in grey, dvp. I try to use the black one but it's hard to see. the black font will only shows in the highlighted items such as the grid and list highlight items.

Thanks Stefan, it's kind of hard to find a good wallpaper for the E61 since there is no template for the 320X240 size in the ts 3 as it will be stretch, but i'll try my best to get a good wallpaper that fit in to the E61 size.

Hi, lycan73, the tribal mustang was just an experiment, since it was made using online service :ownskin.com, where there are only a few things that could be done right now, but with the ts 3, there are a lot of things that could be done.

As for the nature or scenic places themes, i will be making it in the future.

You can overcome the font colour problem by adding a slight filter on the menu image. That way the black font will show up better.

I had problems with images looking slightly deformed/stretched using ownskin.com. I used Type II (N80) as well. How did you manage to make the mustang look good there? I don't quite understand what you meant with "adding a top bar", can you elaborate a little more. Cheers mate.

I had problems with images looking slightly deformed/stretched using ownskin.com. I used Type II (N80) as well. How did you manage to make the mustang look good there? I don't quite understand what you meant with "adding a top bar", can you elaborate a little more. Cheers mate.

Yup, that's true, gadgetski, but it will affect the top bar on the idle background. it would be better if u could just edit them using photoshop and give a dimmer effect just on the middle part of the picture and use that for the menu background. as it won't be shown on the idle background. ( u can see from the screenshots)

As for the top bar, what i means, is that u have to add a top bar in your wallpaper, like the black bar on top and bottom part in the tribal mustang theme, then u will camouflage the stretching mark on top of it ( u can see from the screenshots and compare the one with and without the top bar).

As for the wallpaper that i used, the orignal size is 320X240, then i resize it to 352X416.

I would also like to know if you can create a white theme; not just plain white, but with maybe a decent wallpaper and perhaps a gray selection bar. I had actually once had the S60 white theme from s60.com, but it's no longer available on the site.

The city theme is actually the original theme that come with the ts 3 and it uses original/default icons.

As for the white theme, if it is the same thing of what u mean, u could find it here at this forum, just go to the bottom part of the page.

U r welcome, gadgetski, as for the top and the bottom bar should be 352X40, in your case, just put the top bar should be enough and put it in only the menu background picture, leave the idle picture just as it is.

The clock should be 102X112 but can't be directly resize it as it will be an oval clock, so u must make another transparant with the size 102x112 and the picture of the clock 102x102 and copy to the empty one and move it to the top edge ( that's what i did in the ts3, i think it would be the same though)

i try the tribalmustang theme on my friends N70, it seems that the clock it's kind of hard to see, u have to use the digital clock instead of the analogue one.

As for the the carbon fiber, i'll put that in my list. but the result won't be the same with the one u see in the e61 and s40 because i will do the theme at ownskin.com (not using the ts3) which is much faster but less option right now. hope u don't mind.

Hi, Teddy. I tried to make this using the website ownskin, but was unsuccesful. Therefore, I was wondering if you could make this theme for me. It's based on my favorite sports car, the Lamborghini Murcielago. I would like the exterior of the car for the standby screen, and the interior for the active screen seen beneath the menus. I have uploaded both images to help you out, and have also attached the icons that I would like to be used for the various menu options (downloaded them from ownskin). You can use whatever icons you desire for the sections where I wasn't able to find an appropriate icon. Let me know if it's at all possible.

Yes, i already followed all the instructuon, and new theme already generated, but when i transfered the theme to my E61, it did installation, the phone said that it was not compatible, i kept proceed it, and installation was success. But when i tried to apply the theme, the phone just stuck like that so i have no option other that just pull off the battery..

That's strange, so u manage to create and install it but when u apply it just hang. I did quite a few themes there and never had this problem, may be u could tell the mods. there using Shoutcast as most of the people tell their problems they r having.

Okay lycan73, but i'll make it next week since i got to do a few themes now, for others that requested already.

Glad u like the themes. And as for the icons, i really like what u did, which u name each one of the icons, so make it easy for me and faster to do the theme.

Here is a theme i found on the net, i don't know the author of the theme and sorry i don't mention it as it is in other language.

I think ,this theme is made specially for the E61 and i would like to share it with other E61 owners in this forum. ( the drawback of this theme is : using default icons and the background of music player still the default one) but interstingly enough, the author could change the background for the message, themes etc because in ts 3 there is no option for that, the background that we could change only the idle and menu background.
