View Full Version : Tomtom Go Menu Builder Russell1 4th July 2006, 23:00 Create your own customised menus, instructions in PDF format once installed. durden 18th January 2009, 14:42 a very old thread but having some issues with Navcore 8.204 i'm using this app http://anonym.to/?http://www.gregoryduncan.com/ttmd/index.php to create a customer TT menu. TomTom.mnu file is dropped on SDKregistry on my TT1v2 but when i use this, i lose my customised car icon... not really a life or death problem, but would be nice to get it back! also some commands are missing in the software that creates this (as its for an old 6.X navcore) and wondering if anyone knows where there is a full list of the new TomTom commands i.e. prepare route would be nice. tia if none of this makes sense and for everyone else, you use this software to create your own custom tomtom menus. VERY useful as you can increase the usability to follow you own bizarre sense of logic, design, ease of use, etc. durden 18th January 2009, 15:14 self answered (to some extent) sharing in case it benefits others found a list of mnu commands http://anonym.to/?http://www.opentom.org/Menu_structure and have found one of the missing menu items so think that will solve one problem. still cant seem to fix the car icon issue, a bit more reading a bit of playing though and i may get there, but still happy to hear if anyone has a solution already have tried renaming the icon in the art folder i want to use as -default.bmp but that doesn't fix it. any thoughts anyone? tia TTuser 18th January 2009, 16:05 it would help to use the Search and you find all Answers here http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showpost.php?p=2008074&postcount=3 durden 19th January 2009, 13:38 thanks TomTom user. i did search, which is how i ended up in this old thread. in the interests of sharing what i have learnt i got custom car icons working with a custom tomtom.mnu file working with this program http://anonym.to/?http://www.tomtomheaven.com/data/zip/tthxplrr.zip even though i have an art folder and could customise the icon in Navcore, when i run with a custom tomtom.mnu i would lose the icons and it reverts to the default car icon using this program fixes it. so you can have custom menus AND a custom car icon in Navcore 8. program is run under Windows. hope this helps others |
