Architecture is field of knowledge that never gets old. It is a way of life, a choice, a gift...

Utilitas, Firmitas, Venustas, the 3 aims of Architecture...

Utilitas means to utilize, to be able to use productively, effectively and efficiently, Firmitas means firm, sturdy, to be able to withstand weathering, to resist the rage of time and Venustas, beauty, aesthetics, the ambrosia of sight. This is the main purpose of architecture, to be able to create a structure that would be visually pleasing.

In economics, it has been said that with every grain of need, there is always a handful of want. A shelter is good, but a residence with all the modern necessities is always better. Man has always been an uncontented creature, he continues to venture forth, his quest for never-ending self-discovery. He wants to make the most of what is given to him. He wants to ease his world. He created Architecture. He has a vision.

Architects are like God, we create, we design, we safeguard life...

I am a tekton, i design the future.

Architecture is hard to understand. Noble minds and smart people have advanced its debate in spite of their abilities. The observations, notices, and insights recorded here are to help the rest of us understand what's going on. Sometimes its a lot of hype, other times its pretty inspiring.

Shouldn’t making buildings and environments beautiful be a key task for the architects and the other design professionals and parties involved in creating the built environment? Isn’t “what buildings look like” a key communicational interface between a building and, not only its users, but also the public at large, for whom it creates a piece of the environment they inhabit, even if they never actually enter the building in question?

'' What we do in life will echoe in eternity'' That's precisely explaning what we do...!! As being an architect I try to integrate the technology and the creativity of mine in the light of my customer's demands, emotional mood and lasty money. It is the future of the cities which is in our hands and in our brains.
Regards.

Well Mr Neguno...When I was in the 3rd grade in the university I was just about to quit. Because I was fed up. I thought that I had lost my self-confidence. The project juries had been totally awful although our projects were nice. But I worked patiently and finished the university education. I can answer your question; yes it is totaly worth it. You draw the project, then the constructor makes it to become alive and last when you see that your project, your own design is standing in front of you.....It is really hard to describe that feeling. You must not have doubts about your future. %51 of the success is to trust your self. And always have a progressive mentality so that you can easily catch up the architectural innovations. Wish you luck, happiness and success in your architectural and social life.
Regards.
