friends i am using win xp sp2
i have two hard disk
disk 0 and disk 1
disk 0 contain winxp sp2
i wanted to make disk 1 partition bootable with xp
like we can do with win-98

"please dont suggested to go to explorer\my computer select disk 1 partition
mouse right click format and selelct make bootable disk
as this check box is disabled by default
until u format floopy disk
it dose not permit to copy system file to hard disk drive"

i dont want to format my disk partition also

help me please

I posted an answer to the other thread you started... If you wan't to keep both hdd's in your computer, then use a boot manager. If you want to take out hdd0, and leave just hdd1, your only option may be to reinstall the operationg system.

I think the best way is using boot manager than reformat ur hdd.
