Remove the old ones first as you may get 2 warnings for a lot of the cameras - and most important - make sure you have a full back up copy of your memory card before you do anything. My Fuzion GPS shows up on the phone just as "BT GPS" it's a "FGPXBT02 Xemics" if that means anything to anyone? I started it up from cold here at home and left it in the garden for a while.. then I went out for a 1 hour drive.. setting destinations.. frequently going the wrong way to test recalculations.. i received phone calls and texts and it behaved perfectly! However I am still no wiser... I see you have a 720 acting as 930.. So I guess what I want to know is....is it just as easy to 'play' with a 520 and make it a 730/930 with a suitable SD card. or... Becuase of the extra internal flash you are better with a 720 irregardless of the Extra SD card that you might add. Hope that makes sense! the maverick 13th June 2008, 21:48 Thanks Maverick... Perfect sense. If you are mainly going to be in the UK, but very occasionally go to Western Europe, then you have to justify the extra cost of a 720. If you are travelling in Western Europe and travel alot then I'd opt for a 720. But with an SDHC class 6 card there is no speed reduction by getting a 520 and using an SDHC card. I use 16GB purely because it allows me to have masses of mp3 files on it saved at 32kbit/s (CD/radio quality) and I have ALL of the maps. I actually bought the 720 at a price less than the 520 was being sold by leading retailers because I bought for cost price to us as we are wholesalers and bought 1000 of each and the price difference was insignificant. I think it was about £15, so mine was easy decision to make. The cpu is same so speed is equal as is the internal memory of 64MB, it is just the size of the internal NVR that is half on the 520. A large capacity SDHC card is also of benefit, because you do not need space for O/S so can use the larger format maps, so you are not quite as restricted. I think if I was buying from a retailer, I would be tempted on balance to get 520 or 530 and a large SDHC, especially if we can get the crack for newer v8 maps working. I use navcore 8.002, because for me IQRoutes is important for city travel, though I do know it is not 100% accurate, but that is from local knowledge. I subscribe to Traffic and Safety Cams and Traffic really helps a lot. With the price of diesel, I have slowed and I get a range of about 700 miles on a tank now compared to 400 in the past and that is in 2.2 TDi SRi Vectra i.e. about 54mpg Hope that helps. Mandrake99 14th June 2008, 21:43 Excellent.... That has cleared the water for me! I can see the 520T going for about £185 now, with a standard 720 at £199 and a 920T at £245 from Ebuyer. So as you can see fairly close in price... For me, European travel will probably only be rare trips, so on balance I think it will be more cost effective to buy the 520T and a big SDHC card to put the extra maps should I need them. I think these are probably as good a proce as I am gonna get so I may as well jump now. Thanks Again. :) terrytpot 12th August 2008, 01:44 Here's my latest screenshot...... smk777 26th August 2008, 04:43 I,m using the following: TT 910 NavCore 8.011 Map NA 805 Thanks to the Posters here, my GPS works great with no problems.
