but which city is that ?
I hope we will see a few more :)
se910i 12th July 2006, 12:53 thanks a lot buddy......the first two snaps are from dubai, UAE. its rare to find such formation of clouds out there. it happens only during winter times for few days.
the last snap is from rajasthan INDIA. its the entrance to the Jodhpur fort. i just love the scale and the composition of the entrance and how well it cuts down the harsh sun light.
will attach some more snaps soon.
Racun 12th July 2006, 20:36 Great job! The two skylines are really awesome. I personally prefer the third one. It's thrilling. Keep 'em coming. :supz:

Racun 14th July 2006, 17:57 Yeah it's neat. Good job capturing the bee in the pic. You could resize it and make it a bit smaller, though. It's kinda big.
punjabi_munda 14th July 2006, 20:47 Yeah it's neat. Good job capturing the bee in the pic. You could resize it and make it a bit smaller, though. It's kinda big.
great stuff racun!! Could you attach some of your pics next time...i'm looking for anything that's related to nature. Thanks!
Racun 14th July 2006, 21:36 I'll see what I can dig up from my photo archive.
@Denis 6630: Good job with the other pics. I personally prefer the last two. Also, I'd like to make a suggestion: when you're doing snapshots or ordinary photos or even some art photos you don't really need to use a very high resolution, especially when you plan to post them on some online gallery or something. High resolution photos are big and for some viewers it takes time to load the photo, which makes them impacient. I, for one, don't use very high res and I pretty much do art photography on online galleries.
PS: I forgot to mention that I'm pretty much unexperienced in photography, but I'm doing my best to learn fast.
Denis_6630 15th July 2006, 00:54 OK I understand, but then why do we need high resolutions at all? if we aint going to use it?
Big images contain more details so its better isnt it?
or do you mean (except for the loading time) that the picture should be watched all at once? general look at the picture and not parts by parts?
thanx in advance for all the answers for my newbie questions...
Racun 15th July 2006, 01:10 It all depends on the importance and purpose of the picture. If it's a snapshot, then there's no need for high quality, is it? You just have to capture the essential thing. On the other hand, if you're doing a photo shoot, or if you're taking pictures for an art gallery or some magazine or if you're a photo reporter or paparazzo or something (professional stuff), then you need high definition images. If you feel that the viewer needs to observe and/or admire every inch of your photo, than that calls for high resolution. If you just need them to observe the central idea of the picture (a car hitting someone or something), that there's no need for high res.
Neguno 5th August 2006, 13:22 Amazing! The photos look so vivid and intense. When you were taking these pictures, it seems that you were very focused. I think that photography is the perfect outlet for you in letting out your exemplary artistic tendencies... keep up the good work pal! ^^
justcool 24th August 2006, 14:14 Hi there, what type of camera do you used?
Racun 24th August 2006, 14:20 @neguno : Thank you very much. I appreciate it. :)
@justcool : I currently own and use a Nikon E5200. I'm dreaming for a Canon EOS 350D but I can't afford one right now, so I guess this will do for now.
justcool 25th August 2006, 05:04 Hi Racun, Canon EOS 350D is really cool and value for $. Hope you will soon own it. cheers
Racun 25th August 2006, 09:47 Thank you. I hope so too. It's one of my goals and my goals usually come true.

Some photos taken by me in Great Britain. I don't remember where the first was taken in, but the second is in Dartmoor - the kingdom of cows' poops :). Really! After I took this photo,I found out that i've been standing in poop... Nevertheless, really nice place.
