I got a problem which the pc cannot detect keyboard during in xp (have tried other ps/2 or usb keyboard also not sucessful). But it can be detected in cmos, which i can use the keyboard while in cmos. Answer format is not accepted this time. Waiting for your answer, thanks.

Have you try to boot your PC using other O/S (boot from CD or other bootable disk) just to make sure that the K/B work or not?.

of course the keyboard has been validated working fine..

hi candccom..do u try add hardware..i have this problem b4..when i reformat my com then return in windows keyboard not function!! so i try go add hardware then can liao wor..hope can help u

fcryousukefd, actually the problem solved when after reformating the pc. The only thing is i can't solve the problem without reformating. The method you said i tried before, but not working also.
