Just wanted to drop a line informing u all that Windows Vista (BETA 2 OFFICIAL) is running like a charm on Apple iMac core duo 2.0 !
It even runs better than on my DELL XPS M170 !!!

No, i donīt think itīs possible.
First u need Boot Camp, an application that makes possible to partition ur HD without erasing anything on it, and that application need an proper firmware of the mac.
Also an G3 is way underpowered for VISTA....sorry.

M8 i don think the sourse code are copied, cause the basic built of both the OS are quite different, though one has to say that the visual experiance of AERO in VISTA is being copied.
But it is no where near OSX.
Aesthetic vise and security wise OSX stands out

Meanwhile, i have read the symentec journal on Vista that talks of new codes in place of already tested codes, and the concerns that it would lead to new security flaws.
Anybody has any idea about changes in registry hives??

I've had Vista Ultimate on my apple macbook for almost a month now. I had increased the RAM to 2GB before doing that. Runs like a charm. Only one problem, when ever i switch from mac to vista or vise-versa, the local time changes by a few hours. I couldn't figure out why......

I had one more question i needed to ask, but didn't know who to ask... My macbook came with a 80GB HDD. Now with the two OS's, i'm running out of space. I plan to upgrade to a 200GB or 160GB but don't want to reinstall everything, i would take forever.... Is there a way to make an image of all the drives n partitions from the 80GB HDD and copy it to the new HDD???
Would that work ???
