BeepOff - the program for Nokia on platform Symbian, eliminating squeeks during telephone conversation recording. It's running on Nokia 6680, 6681, 6630, N70. Works with any program call recorder.

Tested work good in my N70 with the CallRecorder V1.03 Cracked Symboss 1......

It is like the SmartCall Manager that record conversation with no beep sound but same to mute the keypay tones........

But after restart phone it will record with the beep sound n i have to turn the "Beep Off" activate n hide again then it will works......

Is it better if this beep off can still run after restart phone.....

yeah i guess it mutes keypad sounds and warning sounds that's wat it does coz minute beep is not working

You have really done a great help to all our members though you are ignorant about what you have posted. This app eliminates BEEP sounds while recording calls. Actually its not legal in some countries to record conversations on your phone. This app cracks Nokia's BEEP protection.

use autoexec to load automatically when you rebbot phone

not working on my 6630 shows blank screen and and when i press activate from left button nothing happen gives beep on recording

testing with my N6880. working perfectly with CallRecorder 1.03. no more beeps!!

Not working with my Nokia 3230.
It seems that this kind of software only work with phones running Symbian OS 8 and above. So, I guess there is no functionality with Nokia 6600, 3230, 6260 and so on.

it works great with my 6630 but i will use one of my best softwares (Minute Beep) so i am going to use SCM again

Anyway the program is rude and need to be enhanced, autostart and "work on record only" must be implemented (to leave keypad sounds and other applications), sometimes it need to be "activated" more times for work..

As soon as I can I will write a mail to most popular call recorders with the application attached, showing them "it could be done" :)
Hoping they include the "trick" on their next releases.

PS for GB6630: guy go write on Nokia official forum and stay there, if u hate our point of view don't write it on iphone

I activated this app only once... After that it records calls without beep... I tested it and I rebooted my phone a couple of times. Even after rebooting call recorder works without beep... I use Call Recorder Pro...

Chill dude...I know u said thanks but just felt that the word ignorant was just a tad bit too stronge. Think most people know about this recording conversation issue u talked about but this guy was just trying to develop something to overcome the beeps since many people were hampering for one...

Also BINPDA already released the nobeep patch with the call recorder, so from there, my doubts got expounded if its really the BeepOFF or the BINPDA patch that did the job. All else I'm just making a funny remark of the program, and thought that you guys would pick up on the joke hihihi (The name of the app is a dead giveaway of what it does anyways).

For your information, I think both do the job. BeepOff is a seperate application for recorders without the patch. You can visit h**p://rec.hut2.ru/ for more info though I don't understand the language... :D

Basically what this program does is it closes one of the processes on the phone which are in charge of beeping some tones. These tones are: beep tone during recording conversation, busy tone, unavailible tone and also the keypad tones.

NOT working on N6670! It only works on Symbian OS v8 phone!

Works on my 6680 but not 6670 (firmware v6.0525). N70 yet to try...

works 100% on TotalRecall app on my 6680

its not working in my N70.. I'm using the call recorder pro 1.0.. but i find it weird, some calls theres a beep and some don't.. this happen before i use the beep off..

works perfectly on my n70 . i use ultimate voice recorder. i use autoexec to load on booting so i never think about it anymore.

If it doesn't work try to enable it more than one time, u could check it works with the dialpad tone missing

yes! not only dialpad tone missing, my assigned ringtone oso gone, always replace by nokia tune aft i installed this prog... anyone got tis prob???

i tried it mate...it works only once after restart and activating it...after 1st call is ended...the beep sound returns...

I suspect the program inhibit the USB connection! On my 6680 5.07 the phone could not be recognized by the PC, I've tried many things (reboot etc).
Finally I've close the beepoff process, uninstall it and reboot the phone, USB OK.

The program MUST be optimized!

The program is good and we're looking for it from years, anyway it must be optimized and fixed, here're a couple of sugestions I hope someone could consider..

More compatibility
Give ablity to switch on and off, now once installed it runs ever until uninstall.
Autoswitch on only when a call happens.
Fix suspected USB inhbit

what about nok6600? it is not working on mine :(

I think its filtering some freguencies' ripples

Hey guys help us out .........how come when i attempt to install the sis file either via usb cable or bluetooth the phone tells me it cant install as there is a security error.......im using a n70 and ive noticed this alot lately....any solutions?

You can´t install it on your E50... This is for OS7/8 phones... And your phone is OS9.1... Try to search in OS 9.1 apps subforum (Total Recall or Softtrends Live PVR)...
