This is only for uk and austria. (0535062) & (05356678).

When I go to flash with the new firmware it says its for 3 Uk and 3 Austria, my network is Vodafone with that in mind am I likely to encounter any problems as a result? Has anybody who's not on the 3 network flashed there N80 with this new firmware?

Its only for 3 and will brand your phone to 3. All the other UK networks are still on the 0617 version.

I suspected that would probably be the case.

The person who posted the firmware probably should have given some information regarding this, as far as I'm aware you can't downgrade to an earlier firmware version, so anyone flashing an N80 that isn't on the 3 network with this firmware is basically screwed till a newer version comes out.

i dont have n80 here... after you download, install...

you can find out the product code(Configuration Settings), open it you will know the PPM for which country

but sure all include English

btw this data package is for EMEA, if you flash EURO/APAC before... and you want same PPM with your phone...

DONT FLASH IT!!!

why is evryone on to this 3G firmware as most of us doesn't have a service provider.. and also if there should be a specific update the nokia service centers will let us know ..

If you have no intention of upgrading your firmware then why are you even looking at this thread? I also can't remember the last time a Nokia service center let me know there was a firmware update available.
