finally managed to flash the firmware at home, it took me half a day !! I used the "dead phone flash" option in phoenix, this was the only way to do it. i attached a pdf document explains how. but i cannont find many improvements in the new fw right now...

Everthing is good but I dont know from this package which files I should choose in the different Phoenix Sw Update dialog box. pls see this picture and tell me after clicking on browse what files should I select to make a successfull firmware upgradation on my nokia 3250?

just use the dead phone usb flash option in phoenix, described in post above !
It automatically selects the right files needed, i tried it on a working and on a non working 3250, its the easiest and fastest way :)

I followed the same procedure of software installations which is mentioned in N70 section. I selected the right files. But when I click start it prompts me that u should have Prommer SW 06.02.002 or newer. U want to go without it Yes or NO. What should I do?

cannot help any further, i used phoenix only this way and it didnt ask for anything.. trying a different version of phoenix maybe solves ur problem. i used 2006.20.9.148

I managed to upgrade the firmware for my Nokia 3250 from v3.18 to v3.21 using Himu_rocks guide, it's really not hard with the right software, some patience and reading the manual word by word. I made a screenshot wich file in wich column i used. And i found out that the phone didn't damage when i just tried the file order in the columns (i really began to sweat at first and thought.....oops), Phoenix begins work but stops and gives an error message when files are in the wrong place, i don't think you can flash badly with the wrong files in wrong place but i'm no expert so don't shoot me :lol: Check out below......
