I think even if we have all these things affecting our personality as we grow, Genes from our parents still play a big part. Somehow we see the world with both our father and mothers eyes making it better maybe??

Yes, genetics do play a big part in growth, but, have you forgotten about many other factors? In my opinion, I think that teachings of your parents play a bigger part in the personality of a person. A person might change it's personality most when they are in an adolescent age rather that most people think at a child age.

your personality traits come from your childhood and tends to send you either a people or task orientated person. coupled with whether you become outgoing or reserved, the combinations of which then determine how you are. Dr Robert Rohm wrote an excellent book on this called Positive Personality Profiles , if you see it buy it its a really interesting read.
Dr Robert Rohms says that if you were to draw a circle and put out going at the top and then reserved at the bottom. draw a line through the circle vertically in half and on the left hand side write task and on the right write people. draw a line across the middle of the circle so the circle is in quarters and your dominant trait will appear in one of the quadrants. i.e the top left quadrant is a task orientated outgoing person, the top right is outgoing and people orientated and the bottom left circle is task orientated and reserved and the bottom right is reserved and people orientated.
Obviously task orientated outgoing people want to get the job done and are quite dominant, yet the other side the people personality takes over and the extremes of this doiminant personality traits are like party boy, centre of attention. The bottom two are bottom right quite submissive shy( reserved people oreintated) and bottom left ( reserved and task orientated) cautious ,calculating thinking type people.
The book helps you identify which type your are dominant in and helps you develop the other traits to your advantage.I have put this book to work and its surprising how true it works out.

I believe (My Opinion) that the Diagram (Camillia's), which depicts the broad (full) spectrum of the theories of one's personality is "perceived" correct.
---> (again, my opinion) *Genetics, primarily dictates ones personality. FIRST AND FOREMOST. :) :!: :) then...everything else...(MAYBE).
...With the emphasis on *Genetics and the (1) Existing conditions (determination) on a(n) newborn/infants brain. Which would lead to an understanding of a possible Developmental situation (positive/negative/lack of). :!:
-Then and only then can we decide to "Blame", "Judge", or "Determine" the reason of one's personality.
-But, we (as human-beings) are born with brains. We should first try to find out (if possible) the who, what, where, when and how's of the Human Brain. Let me emphasize by saying this:
 We must first find out what we all have in common (Genetically & Biologically), and determine the things we find that are, "not in common" (missing or lack of a specific) and then fill in the missing pieces (if possible).
-With the knowledge of our "HISTORY" and the capability of "Learning" , "Understanding" and "Developing" as a People (with brains), we have the capability of the "DETERMINATION" of our Life's existance. And as of now, we do not have a "determination" or "agreement upon the understanding" of how we came to be (in existance). Until we "as a people" all agree of "HOW" we came to be, then and only then can we as a people, move forward in Life. I'm talking about  *religion  , but that's another topic.
Everything (genetically) we are made of Scientifically determines who we are. I know there are some of you, who don't agree. For that reason, I would like to give you 1 word that we should always think about, with anything we don't understand or have an opinion on; the word is- GENTETICALLY. If you look up that word...You'll find that it applies to understanding "the everything" and "the anything" on this planet.;)
Genetics, Biology, Society, Culture, Personal History are they basis for Personality?
Yes and No, Yes because these are the fundamental philosophies and studies behind personality theories. No because Personality Theories are mere theories to illustrate an understanding of human personality and behavior.
Where does Personality came from?
Nobody can trace or fathom to when and where Personality is developed or created however, studies made by Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, Niche, Des Cartes, Freud, Jung, Adler, Horney, Fromm, Skinner, Myers, and etc. believed that personality is an innate system within the individual that provides him/her an understand towards himself/herself and his/her environment. Through the process of learning and adaptation a person will tend to manifest habits fostered and motivated by experience and thoughts.
Personality until now however is still a mystery..... those models of personality only provide a minute understanding of the great schematic whole of the personality.
