Thx mate! How long it takes for you to flash a firmware? I used RSD Lite 2.5 and it took me about 2 hours, 2 hours and a half. Is version 2.8 any faster?

Okay, I'm an newbie and I need help. I am wanting to do some mods to my V3i. When I try to open RSD 2.8 a window pops up asking what program do I want to want to associate this with. I am trying to open the program without having my phone connected to the computer. Is that the problem.

I need the help of more experienced folks. Thanks in advance

i think problem with your pc...

i've flash many v3, v3i, v3x, l6, l7

if with pentium 4 (2.6 ghz) 512 ram <5 mins
if with pentium 3 (1.6 ghz) 128 ram <10mins

I have an L7 and it only took about 5-10 mins. Can't remember exactly but it wasn't long.

My V3i took about 5 min or so. 2.8 ver worked like a charm.

this only works for v and l series??
how abt c series?

it tells me it only can install in c drive but mine is d not c as the hard disk so what do i do?

I just received my RAZR v3i and am interested in trying some of these modifications I read so much about. At my age, my hearing has gone to pot and I understand I can tweak my phone for more volume. Where can I get the needed directions and software?
