:cry: my computer (msi mother board,intel 2.40 pro,2 ddr ram 256=256(IBM and OTHER) my 1 (256) ddr ram is not work good,when i on my computer some time latter my computer stop and dont work,if restart it does not start,then i remove my 1 ram(other)and my computer work properly,some time letar i put the ram on board and setup the board press DEL key im see ram properties its fine,and start computer my computer stop again, WHAT ITS PROBLEM,help me...........sorry for bad english...............................:???:

possbily some chips on your other ram spoiled, use some mem test program to run and test, then you will know.

br check that Ram speed and also check that ur mother board support these ram like if u have 256 Mb Ram running at 400 Mhz and ur motherboard support 333 Mhz thats causes a prob but sometimes ur mother board support 400Mhz ram but not working properly same pro happen with my pc I purchase 2 Gb ram running at DRR2 533 Mhz but when i insert the ram in to my board now when i start my computer running fine but when i play the game it shows me fatal error and after 30 0r 40 min my computer hang or sometimes automatically restart my motherboard also support DDR 2 533mhz ram now i m using Dual channel 2 Gb DDr2 400Mhz my computer run fine without a problem

thanks for ur theard.... i say all my ram work many month (4)fine.but this start problem 3 week.many month before my all ram work fine,this problem start after 4 month why?????????????

have you tested with the memory test program? as i said, it might be some of the chipset malfunctioning..

That mean ur Ram Has Malfunctioning alreddy..so u have to buy another new ram to replace it..b4 u buy make sure u take the good function ram to be a sample so u won't buy wrong Ram..Sorry For my BAd english

Normally branded ram got lifetime warranty, just bring your faulty ram and get it warranty and replace..
