Attention!!! Do not install font into N91!!! [Archive]

1)you cannot delete file font;
2)you cannot rename folder name
3)you cannot to enter on internal HDD by phone or by PC
4)you cannot format HDD from pc or phone

You lose totally control of the HDD

It happens because one application (of installation font) busy all resource of the access to disk drive and to prevend any access to disk by phone and by PC.
Then you cannot to remove HDD like simply MMC card (i.e. N80) for to reformat it by card reader & PC.

thanks for d info. The best solution is to format it like the instruction given above. I think formatting d hard drive will work but i dont want to try it on my n91 nor want to install d font. Hard drive is so sensitive compare to memory card.

why don't you try Deep Reset (*#7370#) : This reformats completely the C: drive. All applications and files stored on this drive will be lost and clean default files will be rewritten. just to be sure, remove your memory card before you do this so that it won't format your files in memory card.

Deep Reset by digiting code *#7370# does not work. I think that best mode to try is *,3 and greendial button. If it does not work I suggest by format system file with Phoenix 2006.

To remove font on N91 you must
1)Remove back roof (This action Disable HDD)
2)Turn On your phone
3)Install back roof
4)Connect your mobile and remove font

1)Снять заднюю крышку (Ето отключает винт)
2)Включить телефон
3)Поставь назад крышку
4)Соедени телефон к компу и удаляй шрифт :)

help for a N80 owner. cannot unistall the new fonts no matter what i have tried from the options u mentioned :)

can u provided again a solution in steps ?

[EDIT] OK i managed after many tries with the help of "biggzy"

had to take out my memory card. without it it works just fine. going to install now y-browser on the phone to see if i can find smth from there too !

but my guess was that when i will re-put the mini SD i will have the crap fonts once more.

So finally i insert while the phone was opened the mini sd and it worked completely the only crap thing is that i have to reinstall some appz cause after this success i format it to be sure everything is OK.

is a little bit more symple to install it on de memory card (n80 and others) so, to delete them only have to put off the SD and use an card reader to remove it or change the font type.

Hi... This **** crap happened to me... then i updated my firmware... and then i removed some applications and then i was able to format my harddrive...:P

Never Install Fonts On Phone Memory Of Any Nokia Nseries, If You Want To Uninstall You've To Reflash It, Just Install It To The Memory Card.

I also had problem with this software on my N73.... I had so much trouble removing it even when using a card reader.... Even after removal i had software issues... So i had to do a software update again... All working fine again now....
