i am using the same laptop as you. I feel great

I've got to be honest with you.

before buying this beloved laptop from which i am typing this message I had hard time considering chosing DELL or HP because a lot of my friends always detest DELL brand in front of me and they actually made me a bit worried.

But finally who cares man DELL is one of the best brand in the world that offers CHEAP and POWERFUL laptop right ?

so i decided to buy this DELL

its just great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i run Trio systems of Vista, Xp, MAC OS on it with no problem.

I feel lucky as I made a right dicision

I have 9300 bought about a year ago and it's still great to me - heavy cos it's 17" screen but still value for money if you compare against other brands with the same screen size.

I'm glad to hear about the positive feedback for dell here.

Having worked for dell support staff, I have seen both sides of the coin. Luckily for all of you the experience has been good, and I certainly hope it continues to remain so.

Yes, dell is a respected brand. But have you ever wondered why dell is so cheap compared to the sony/toshiba/ibm? You guys may not want to know the answer!
Dell is not a manufacturer, but an assembler. And a very efficient one I must say. They take the cheapest parts for most of their low-end pc/laptops from China, India and other cheaper markets. Thats how they keep the costs down. Also they seem to have better support staff with global presence.

Just some info from an ex-dell employee...
