Installation note (WM5 tested)
My v1.4.4.232 code works for me without any replace w/ the crack CSBCPL.cpl file. I just noted my v1.4.4.232 code then install(replace w/) new v1.4.5.237... Use the old code to register. IT WORKS ....

just replace CSBCPL.cpl file in \windows dir...

hopefully this version can block call and sms. since the previous version can't block sms.

to block call and sms you have to put in the number twice in the blocklist, to block the call, the number must be in the format of which ur phone recieves a new call. Lets say someone not in ur phonebook calls you, the number would show up as (123) 456-7890 . Thats how you have to add it to the list so it will pick it up and block it. Otherwise it wont block the number. The same goes for text. For me, my phone shows the incoming texters number as 11234567890
.Which no - or () or anything, just the whole number including 1 before the phone number. ex. 1aaabbbcccc. be sure not to include spaces or it wont block it. The way i do it is add the number from the phone book, then edit the first number and put it into (123) 456-7890 format. (Spaces included). The click new at the bottom and enter in the same number but only in the 1aaabbbcccc format. Then thats it, Try it with your home phone. After download is a rar file.However when i extract from my PC i cant install. Is it i suppose to copy the file to my PPC then extract and install from there ?

After extract, there're 2 files *.cpl(cracked file) and *.cab, copy *.cab to ur ppc, and run it for instalation, copy *.cpl to \windows to make it full.

After i use rar to extract i could only see a file name call CSBCPL ( control panel extension ) and i dont see any .cab file.

If i could take the screen shot and show u will be good. I manage to use print screen and place at MS Word but donno hot to place it in here cause it need .jpg file sigh..

i think u'd extracted the cab file too, just try to d/l it again...
*.cpl uncompressed size is about 91 kb, so it doesn't make any sense if u only found one file after extracted the attachment. just d/l it again ....

epraizer, i straight away drag the zip file to PPC. It can install. Program run. But now i don know where to find the .cpl file already. where should i look for it ?

about unlock code box, do u able to edit the code in it ?? if u do, it means ur CSB is still in trial mode....

copy(replace the old *.cpl) it in to \windows....
btw, make sure number u want to block not duplicated in contact.
mine, working fine... both call & sms blocked ok.... just tested..

i think you have miss something in copy the cpl file to your ppc's window, i'm using wm5 ipaq6828 and this is whay i did:
1.after opening the 'CSB v1[1].4.4.232 WM5.rar' file, you will find 2 files, 'CSBCPL.cpl' and 'WMApps_Call_SMS_Blocker_wm5.cab'
2.can see that you have done the installation, so the next step
3.copy the 'CSBCPL.cpl', then in your desktop(while your ppc and pc still in connection), open window explorer, click on 'mobile device' and click on 'window' then paste the copied 'CSBCPL.cpl' on it. you should have a dialog to ask whether you wanna overwrite it and click 'yes'
4.now click the sync button and you are done.
5.now you can unplug the cables, open the cbs, go to about, for my machine, this is what i did
6.the unlock code box is blank when i go to about, just key in any numbers in the blank box and click ok, a dialog will shows 'thankyou for registering' to go out of the cbs
7.go back to about again, this time you will see the actual unlock code, copy it on a piece of paper
8.uninstal the cbs and reinstall again(do not need to repeat step3 anymore), now use the the actual code in the blank unlock code box and you are finally done.
hope this will benefits others too, please correct me for those who think i've done something wrong, i'm here to learn too...

i still cant really understand the above,
my 1st attempt is my home phone and it is in my contact list. as usual, did the neccesory than try calling my wm5 ipag6828, it block in the 1st few calls but later stop blocking
then i add my dad's hp from the contact list to the same blocked list as my home's no., same 1st few calls it block then stop blocking, i've no problem for my dad's hp sms except for the sms tone sounded with nothing appears on my phone's screen and the sms is in the blocked folder of 'messaging'
i also tried deleting my dad's contact from the contact list, then use my dad's hp to call and send sms to my phone, inoder to get the actual dad's hp no. with the country code, this time put them, exactly the numbers in the blocked list again
and call agian but nowit don't block anymore but still got no problem in the sms except that my phone's sms will sound with nothing appear on my phone's screen. is it that my phone is unstable with this application?

ok, i have just done a soft reset and it start blocking again, i'll give it a few more tries and feedback again. if it continues to have the same problem, hope this bug can be fixed, otherwise this is a nice application, but still the best is the interactive voicecall master for s60 phones, hope some developers will come out with something like that....

I think the 'cr**k' (we use to copy to /window) CPL file is 4 the 1.2.0.86 version & it'll be use again even in the next upcoming versions. that's why I mentioned, uninstall & reinstall again after copying the unlock code in my last post.

Hi all,
the trick is to install the prog, then install the crack, open the prog and see the code, copy it on paper.
Then, soft reset, uninstall the prog, check that the cracked dll is gone. Do another round of clean install, "Do not apply the crack anymome". Open the prog and go to registration tab, insert the code that you've copied just now. Voila, it should be registered.
Keep the code in safeplace or in your note. Whenever you hard-reset your machine, just insert the code again if you do a clean install.
Keep in mind that the code is only valid on the machine. Different machine needs different code.

Hi,

You do not have to enter anything as the CPL file is supposed to generate a key for your device.

What you should do is note down that number. Then uninstall the software and re-install the software without copying the CPL file this time, and enter the number...

I think u should use the cr@cked CSBCPL.cpl, from version 1.2.xx. I used it because I once have the same problem with cr@cked csbcpl.cpl from version 1.4.xx (it generated 000000).

Here's the step I took :
install the s/w, copy the original csbcpl.cpl to \My Documents, overwrite the csbcpl with the cr@cked one (from v1.2.xx), write down the code generated.
rewrite the cr@cked csbcpl with original one, enter the code generated.

After installing CSB 1.4.4.232, I saw one problem that I think it is very imporlite for caller. Problem is: I add a number into blacklist. When that number call me, he hear a bit of sound, such as a haft of a ring, and then continous hang-up sound. I think it's better if caller only hear hang-up sound. Could anyone sovle that bug to make the app perfecter.

Great job bro epraizer, I've been looking for the newest version of this CSB s/w.
Would like to add reputation to u but have to spread some reputation first.
Please accept my gratitude first.

And for u guyz have the comment of : "the caller will hear a bit of ringtone before hung up", I read on the CSB's website that bcoz of the caller id is sent between 1st ring and the 2nd and so the s/w could recognize, so the caller will always hear a bit of ringtone.

I've tested CSB pretty thoroughly, well i guess this will have to do since it does get as close as possible to what i'm looking for...which is the block then pickup/hangup feature. :|

Does anyone have any success with the block then hangup feature...it goes to voicemail for me...maybe it should just say "auto ignore".

Also the check box for Block unknown numbers don't work either, but i found a way around this (Don't remember seeing this anywhere else so excuse me if i'm repeating this). If you notice when a blocked unknown/private number comes through...and you check the logs under the number column...it says this: - <->
So i created a list and modified it to add a contact named: Private with a number - <-> and did the same with a contact named Unknown. I then changed the user mode to "restrict all from list" and wala...works like a charm. Now i just need a way to give the caller a busy signal or sometype of custom recording. The sms reply feature would be perfect except most ppl block their numbers from a landline and you can't send a sms to a landline (well you prob could but they would never see it or it would fail) :???:

So until someone recommends something that can do this or i find one myself...i guess this will have to do. Or maybe someone knows a way to create custom voicemail recordings for both, when you hit the ignore button or letting it ring. I thought i had this feature and went to change some settings and did not see this option.

Overall this is a nice piece of software. :ilove:

Can someone give me a hand with installing this please(WM5)? I followed the directions correctly(Or atleast I thought I did), but no matter what I do I cant get the registration# to show. I've tried to uninstall, soft reset, etc. Funny thing is even with the program un-installed, I copied and paste the crack version to my windows folder & it still ask me if I want to replace the current file. Why is this still happening even when the program has been un-installed? I only copied the file to my phone to make sure the program was un-installed. Any suggestions? Your help is greatly appreciated, thx.

Hi Bro.. There is a Text file in the file you downloaded which has the method to crack it...

Here is how to crack it...


Here the step to crack v1.4.5.237 Tested (WM5 only)

1.install version 1.2.0.86
2.copy original CSBCPL.CPL in /windows to your pc
3.copy cracked one (v1.2.0.89)
4.run Call SMS Blocker, at About tab insert any number you want (it wil register it self using the right code)
5.note the rightcode
6.replace it using the original CSBCPL.CPL you copied to you PC in step 2
7.install version 1.4.5.237
8.follow step 2 till 6 you will get fully working (register) v1.4.5.237

imo, you can skip installation of version 1.2.0.86, since the code generate different from you get from v1.4.5.237
but for precaution measured i haven't skipped it, so maybe anyone can tried it and confirm work or not..


since i don't have any WM3/SE device i cant confirm the step also successful or not for this new version,
but you can tried it

the instalation istructions are somewhat not good ... i noticed that if i folowed exactly what it said the version installed at the end would be 1.2xxx not 1.4xxx ... that's why your phone rings (1.2xx is probly slower)... here`s my instalation instructions to get the 1.4.5.237 fully working :

1. install version 1.2.0.86 from the "Call.....V1.2.0.86" folder
2. copy original CSBCPL.CPL from /windows to /anywhere :P
3. copy cracked one v1.2.0.89 from the "Call.....V1.2.0.86" folder (unrar according to your OS)
4. run Call SMS Blocker, at About tab insert any number you want (it wil register it self using the right code)
5. check the About tab again and note the right code that appeared
6. install version 1.4.5.237
7. run Call SMS Blocker, at About tab insert the code you wrote

Voila!... Tested on a HTC Wizard.

the instalation istructions are somewhat not good ... i noticed that if i folowed exactly what it said the version installed at the end would be 1.2xxx not 1.4xxx ... that's why your phone rings (1.2xx is probly slower)... here`s my instalation instructions to get the 1.4.5.237 fully working :

1. install version 1.2.0.86 from the "Call.....V1.2.0.86" folder
2. copy original CSBCPL.CPL from /windows to /anywhere :P
3. copy cracked one v1.2.0.89 from the "Call.....V1.2.0.86" folder (unrar according to your OS)
4. run Call SMS Blocker, at About tab insert any number you want (it wil register it self using the right code)
5. check the About tab again and note the right code that appeared
6. install version 1.4.5.237
7. run Call SMS Blocker, at About tab insert the code you wrote

Voila!... Tested on a HTC Wizard.

1) Install latest version, that would be 1.4.5.237
2) It's it not backing up per se... you have to rename csbcpl.cpl to something else like csbcpl_ori.cpl, otherwise you will not be able to copy the cracked version to \windows folder...
3) Before copying, ensure that CSB is not running...
4) After you have copied over the cracked CPL, run CSB to get the serial...
5) Write down the serial, uninstall if you wish and re-install... else rename the cracked cpl to something else and restore the original csbcpl_ori.cpl to csbcpl.cpl

The purpose of re-installing the latest version avoid confusion whenever you refer to the about box as the cracked version will show you version 1.2.xxx

Yes..Magicall 1.1 does that. Havent tried it yet because wont work with sms for my htc p3300..i think is from phone profiles bur call sms block worked fine.
By the way 2.1.5 is out and no sign of any new crack :(

i facing difficult to install, i using dopod 577w, window ce version 5.10 (build 195).

1- i did not find "CSBCPL.cpl" in my phone memory under "/window" folder
2- i try install, and finish install and i restart but did not find any icon to start the program. after check my install program, nothing shown
3- i cant find "CSBCPL.cpl version 1.2.0.89
4- i install from "CSB v1.4.4.232 WM5.rar" and "WMApps_Call_SMS_Blocker_wm2005 v1.4.5.237.CAB.rar" still does not work
