My VIDEO CARD makes an irritating, squeaky noise. ever once in a while. It works fine but that sound really bothers me.
Aside from the sound, while playing games, the screen animations lags. like every 3 seconds, the movements in the screen stops for about 1/10 of a second, the runs ok again for the next 3 seconds then stops again. the lag is accompanied by that annoying squeeky sound. :???:
Can anyone help me with my problem. And advice would be very much appreciated. :prayer:

i think your video card is broke.... if this is a newly bought card, try returning it to the vendor for a replacement....

Then just get it warranty or trade in with the shop you bought the card and get a better card.

that card with the fan seems to be a very common problem.
what i would do is go get a passive cooler from either zalman or thermaltake.
its not too easy to remove and reinstall a new one so only do so if you are more hardware saavy

Yup....do what LayZ says....check whether the fan is firmly in place...
If problem persists.....replace the fan.. it doesnt cost much!!
but if you've actually bought the card 2 months back....then it's still under warranty...!! nvidia cards come wit a 1yr warranty period!
so i wud suggest u return the card to the dealer u bought it from and ask him to fix the problem!! he shud fix it free of cost....that is.....as long as you've not meddled or tampered with the card in any way! ;)

try to download a new version update for your card, maybe it can help. Its cheaper than to buy a new card:>
