Russell1 7th August 2006, 11:56 The best one is probably the tomtom one, but which ever one you get try to go for one with the 'sirf III' chipset, they get a mcuh better signal than the earlier type. minimal 7th August 2006, 12:33 I bought a Holux GPSlim 236 from ebay for A$100 delivered. Works a treat and I can't fault it so far. As Russell states above, so long as it has the sirf III chipset you should be right. Magic_monkey 8th August 2006, 23:32 I got the new Tomtom receiver with sirf III chipset. Its excellent! £63 delivered from ebay. nokiahell 9th August 2006, 00:00 i got the tom tom gps receiver........works fine for me.... chakli 9th August 2006, 00:13 holux 236 or global sat-38 $89!!...saw that on mapopolis websit...it also inlcudes arkon car mount... hatchy 18th August 2006, 08:48 Ended up with the Holux GPSslim 236 off ebay $aus103.00 delivered. It should be a good choice, let us know how it performs once you've given it a good test :D :D pritimae 15th December 2006, 15:28 i love this forum. thank you verymuch papzi 20th December 2006, 13:30 Royaltek BT mini (RBT1000) from Metro 12000 HUF (cca 48 Euro) best for me! KenBruce 21st December 2006, 15:26 Holux BT 321 works well on its own but I have problems with the earpiece I am using. I use an o2 BT earpiece and it drops out occasionally whether I am in TT5.202 or not. I guess I should use a Nokia BT earpiece with my N70. Which BT earpiece do you use? |
