If you have Nokia 6630, then thats Symbian 8.0 - the sysmbian version is specific to phone models - check the symbian website, it lists all the Nokia phones and what symbian OS version they use.

Beside 1000 on-line specific sites about mobile phones and full specifications, you ask: "how to check Symbian version" - on example Nokia 6630?!?
So if you wanna get info from you phone - download app. called SPMark04(use search on this forum), install it and you have all system info needed!
