PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite is a Pocket PC software that uses a Pocket PC screen to emulate input devices such as keyboard, touchpad or tablet. Through these "virtual" input devices, PPC Tablet helps users remotely control a desktop or laptop PC by sending keystrokes or mouse movements to it, through an ActiveSync connection or any TCP/IP network connection, wired or wireless. It can also help users speed up repetitive data entry or computer operation by using PPC Tablet's macro keys.

We have just released our latest version of PPC Tablet Remote Control Suite -- v3.0. We added support for many new devices running Windows Mobile 5, support for VGA screens, and support for both portrait and landscape modes. In addition, there are many new features and enhancements in the server and client modules. See the Change Log for a list of the new changes.

PPC Tablet is a "human interface" platform which implements input functionality through plug-ins (called "layout profiles"). These plug-ins come from our in-house development or contributions from our user community. PPC Tablet 3.0 currently provide the following plug-ins (more to come):
Default Devices: This plug-in contains a touchpad, a tablet and a numeric keypad.
iTunes: A plug-in designed for controlling iTunes.
Winamp: A plug-in designed for controlling Winamp.
Windows Media Player: A plug-in designed for controlling Windows Media Player.
Media Center PC: A plug-in designed for controlling Media Center PC. (This plug-in is an extra download available here.)
PowerPoint Presentation: A plug-in designed for controlling PowerPoint.
Internet Explorer: A plug-in designed for navigating Internet Explorer web browser.
Firefox: A plug-in designed for navigating Firefox web browser.
WinTV: This plug-in provides a remote-control pad for WinTV and other programs.
Personal Data: This plug-in allows you to save personal data (like name, e-mail, phone, address) in the profile and replay it in other applications.
OneNote: A convenient plug-in to control Microsoft OneNote. (This plug-in is an extra download available here.)
Document Viewer: This plug-in is designed for viewing documents.

Not a great deal of room left for anything else, I had to remove the France Plus map to make it all fit!. :o)

Have the subject, time, and location of upcoming appointments read to you
As you are running out the door, you can easily have Voice Command read the details of your upcoming appointments out loud so you do not have to look at the screen to find out what is coming up.

Check the time and location of your next appointments by saying, "what are my appointments."
You can ask about your next appointment by saying, "what is my next appointment."
You can also have Voice Command read your appointments for tomorrow by saying, "what are my appointments tomorrow."

Voice-controlled media player
Use your voice to choose the music that you want to play from your collection by album, artist, or genre.

Installation:
1. Copy all files onto SD card.
2. Insert SD card into phone and the installation process should start automatically. If not, navigation to \Storage Card\2577\ and install either the signed or unsigned "ROUTE 66 N7.CAB" file.

Basically this prevents the soft keyboard from popping up automatically, especially when you don't need it

(There is a hack to permanently disable the software keyboard but this method is better.)

- Install NULL Keyboard .cab (attached)
- Install SIPChanger.cab (attached)

- Run SIPChanger.exe and select your default SIP (NULL Kb)

Now, every time you reset the device this little app runs. It simply changes the default pop up keyboard to whatever you set it to (I use NULL Kb) automatically and "behind the scenes".

If you ever need the software keyboard, simply select it .

Ok this is a neat little program that comes installed on other HTC devices. But someone has come up with a fix so it works on our Apache. As far as I can tell its similar to many other today screen programs. Its does make accessing somethings easier plus battery and memory meters on the today screen.

It also adds the following to the device.

1. An application manager that shows active programs as icons so you can quickly select and close them.

2. A scheduler that allows you to activate sound profiles, call divert profiles, Bluetooth state and flight mode state at the date and time you want. For example, you can divert all calls to your phone to the office phone on every weekday at 9am.

3. Application modules running at Today page that provide information about name of network, last call, battery, memory, alarms, appointments and provide control ability on call diversion, sound profile, application launcher and running applications.

Install Instructions

1. Download the attachment to either ur pc or ppc. (if downloaded to pc activsync the file over to the ppc.)

2. Run the 1_o2p202200106_wm5s.cab and let it install. You will have to reset the device after the install. (note: you will get an error saying its only for O2 devices, just ignore it. The program is installed but your today screen will look the same until after step 3)

3. Run the 2_O2Plus.v2.0.Patch.cab and let it install. It will say you have to reset, just hit ok in the bottom left hand corner.

4. After reset you now should a a totally different looking today screen. (note some of the old today screen plug-ins will still be there (ex. outlook) these can be removed by going to start/settings/today/items and select what u want to show from the orginal today screen)

For those who just want the "last call" today plugin from the O2 Plus Pack, without all that other stuff, I've attached the cab file below (in a zip). Just install and select from your Today screen.

Basically, this displays the...well..the last call your phone made, either incoming (good for missed calls) or outgoing (good to know if you accidentally dialed someone!).

Install and u now have a dictionary editor. Just load the main dictionary and u can edit one word, or completely wipe all word from the built in dictionary.

This is actually an old tweak, but I'm bringing it back up since it's very valuable and was buried in some old thread (we also gained about 1600 members, lol)

My Friend has created and shared with us his playlist (.asx) file that can be launched under WMP10 (.asx can be store on storage card, and after update library in WMP10, the playlist can simply be clicked on in the library for fast access. This .asx has several TV stations: BBC News, CNN, ABC, etc.

It's like a free MobitTV. No where as good as Slingbox but you can't argue with the price: Free.

open zip and save .asx file to device and double click to watch in WMP.

Notes: After a soft reset you will not see the windows splash screen, don't panic it will load. And for some reason when trying to update the channels via wifi you get a could not connect error, but works fine on 1x.

Im surprised I havent seen this mentioned anywhere yet, but I found this on xda. Its another task manager, but for its size and feature set I really havent seen anything that can beat it.

What I am attaching is just a ppc executable "pbar.exe". I placed it in a folder "\Windows\Program Files\pBar". Once you run it, there is an option to run it on startup, and it automatically creates a shortcut in your startup folder that points to the location you ran it from (that is why I placed it in "\Windows\Program Files\pBar").

Smartphones don't have a touch screen, so this kinda limits the software that is suitable. In my experience, PPC software usually will install and run on a smartphone, you just can't interact with it!

You might want to try SPHelper. Here is a keygen for it.

Basically it gives you a pointer so you can use touchscreen software on a smartphone.

Smile O2 Plus Today Screen
Ok this is a neat little program that comes installed on other HTC devices. But someone has come up with a fix so it works on our Apache. As far as I can tell its similar to many other today screen programs. Its does make accessing somethings easier plus battery and memory meters on the today screen.

It also adds the following to the device.

1. An application manager that shows active programs as icons so you can quickly select and close them.

2. A scheduler that allows you to activate sound profiles, call divert profiles, Bluetooth state and flight mode state at the date and time you want. For example, you can divert all calls to your phone to the office phone on every weekday at 9am.

3. Application modules running at Today page that provide information about name of network, last call, battery, memory, alarms, appointments and provide control ability on call diversion, sound profile, application launcher and running applications.

.CBR is CDisplay RAR file. It's a comic book archive file. It using RAR archiving method. You can use WinRAR to open the file or rename the extension to .RAR. Hope this is useful.

This package allows you to view videos from youtubes mobile site at m.youtube.com without needing an iphone. Ive only tested it on a motorola q, it may or may not work for you. The dll files go in the windows directory of your phone.

I cannot stress this enough. IF THE DLL FILES EXIST DO NOT OVERWRITE THEM.

Triple dots are around it.

Yeah, tried that. Only triple dots are after the link to the programs home page. I definitely can't find a crack on their homepage. What am i missing?

Found "triple dots" on the bluetooth sniper page, but not on the other 4 pages I looked at.

Edit #2: Went back to bluetooth Sniper page and "triple dot" link is gone????

Check out this program its a cab that everytime when you press a number when in phone mode, will vibrate. it was cool to find and try, and I like it. try it out for yourself!

Has anyone tried this program yet? (and what kind of phone did it work on for you?)

I tried to install a similar program to my AT&T 8525 awhile ago and not only did it not work, it deleted the registry files for my phone pad keytones, which I could not replace (upgrading to wm6 got those back at least).

So if anyone could reply whether this works or not (especially on HTC phones) I'd be highly interested.

Hi All,

I have not posted anything since my last post about the software that I firstly found a crack in ip-mart for symbian phone. I was decrement the reputation so... I have stopped for a while.... until now...

I have packed Sky Force Reload into a .cab file where all you do is to copy into a memory card or into your phone/pda and run it... that's all.. but not sure if anyone wants this as I saw alot of ppl have asked for it before...

You must let people know what machine you have, also it is unlikely that a machine running WM2003 will be able to be upgraded to WM6.

But, worth trying, who knows! Before you post asking in the Roms thread, search google to find out if there is an upgrade for your device!

You might want to try SPHelper. Here is a keygen for it.

Basically it gives you a pointer so you can use touchscreen software on a smartphone.
