I can connect to my wireless for a few minutes but then after a while i cannot connect to the internet. I usually have to access to my router and release and renew the internet connection, then its ok, then after a while i cannot connect to the internet again. I cannot play online games, surf or connect to msn. I have to do the process all over again and again. I checked all the status are fine. But when i troubleshoot with msn messenger, it says dns problem. But when i try connect my laptop directly to the modem it was fine, no prob. This happens everytime i play online games and surf. Please help.

Thanks in advance.

You can try resetting your TCP stack, this has usually solved problems like this for me, and you can try the following in a command prompt window (start, run and type cmd and press enter):

%SystemRoot%\system32\netsh int ip reset reset.log

this can cause damage if done incorrectly so make sure you type it in how it is.

this forces windows to dump any current network configuration information it has, and your router will then supply it with new information and it should work :)
